The City Boy Movement - FCT, through its Medical Director and his dedicated team, organised a free medical outreach and mental health awareness programme at As-Sattar Central Mosque, Small River, Behind NYSC Camp, Gbazango Extension, Kubwa.

The outreach featured mental health awareness, on-the-spot medical screening, provision of necessary medication, and general health education to promote the well-being of residents.

The initiative highlights the importance of community engagement, accessible healthcare, and raising awareness about health issues that directly affect people’s lives.

Yesterday was a special moment for me as I had the honour of participating in the inauguration of the Ignite Nigeria Women Movement and addressing the women who have chosen to take up this responsibility.

As Patron, I was encouraged by the passion, commitment and energy of our members. I reminded them that this movement is about service, leadership, empowerment and meaningful participation in our communities.

We also reaffirmed our engagement with the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, the APC, and the party’s candidates in the FCT.

I am grateful to everyone who made the event a success, and I look forward to seeing the impact of the newly inaugurated executives across our communities.

Yesterday, I had a productive engagement with Working People United, a coalition comprising members of different government and private-sector unions across the FCT.

Our discussions centred on grassroots organisation, workers’ participation and their expressed intention to collaborate with the City Boy Movement FCT around the 2027 political activities involving President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, Senator Philip Tanimu Aduda, and other FCT APC candidates.

I appreciate the leadership and members of Working People United for the engagement and their willingness to build a structured partnership with CBM FCT.

For us, every meaningful engagement strengthens grassroots participation and expands the conversation across the FCT.

At Dafara, Kuje, this outreach was personal; listening to people, connecting with families and showing that every community matters.

Through the “Text Me Food” initiative of our Patron, Barr. Seyi Tinubu, families received food support while participating local vendors also benefited from increased patronage and economic activity.

We also engaged residents on the Renewed Hope agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and the APC candidates across the FCT ahead of 2027.
