CBM FCT Celebrates Progress, Rewards Winners of Challenge
Across the Federal Capital Territory, communities are witnessing visible signs of progress. Inspired by the remarks of the FCT Minister, Barr. Nyesom Wike, on the developmental strides of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Administration, the City Boy Movement (CBM), FCT Chapter, launched the Challenge to encourage young people to identify, document and tell the stories of development within their communities.
The response was remarkable, with young people across the six Area Councils demonstrating creativity, civic awareness and pride in their communities. Outstanding participants were rewarded with ₦250,000 each at a presentation ceremony held at the CBM FCT Secretariat.
The ceremony was led by the Director General of the City Boy Movement, Hon. Francis Tosin Shoga, and hosted by the FCT State Director, Hon. Bitrus Lawrence Garki.
Commending the growing strength and activities of the FCT Chapter, the Director General expressed confidence in its leadership and pledged the continued support of the national body as membership and grassroots participation continue to expand.
We also appreciate the Deputy Director General (Coordination), Hon. Abayomi Favour, and the National Directors for their presence and continued support.
Congratulations to all the winners. Through your stories, you have shown that progress is not only something we hear about; it is something we can see in our communities.
