Workers’ Day is a reminder that every honest contribution matters, from the civil servant to the artisan, the teacher, the farmer, the security personnel, and every young Nigerian striving for a better future.

I commend your resilience, dedication, and commitment despite the challenges many continue to face. Your sacrifices do not go unnoticed.

Our hearts are heavy over the tragic killings in Jos, particularly in Angwan Rukuba. The loss of innocent lives is deeply painful and a reminder of how fragile peace can be. We stand in solidarity with the victims and their families during this difficult time.No community deserves to live in fear or suffer such violence, especially in places like Angwan Rukuba. Moments like this call for reflection, compassion, and a renewed commitment to humanity. We must choose understanding over division and unity over hate.As we mourn, we also hope for healing, for justice, and for lasting peace in Jos, Angwan Rukuba, and beyond. May the souls of the departed rest in peace, and may strength find those left behind.
