Story, story...

Adebola was a young girl from a small village. She had just started her period and was nervous about managing her menstruation. Her mother, Adebomi, sat her down to explain the basics.

Adebomi introduced Adebola to reusable menstrual pads made of soft, breathable cotton. Adebola was skeptical at first, but Adebomi showed her how to use, wash, and care for them.

As Adebola began using the pads, she felt a sense of freedom and confidence. She no longer worried about leaks or constant changes. The pads were comfortable, absorbent, and eco-friendly.

Adebola started sharing her experience with friends, and soon, they were all interested in trying reusable pads. Together, they convinced their teacher to start a menstrual health club at school.

The club, "Flower friends," aimed to educate girls about menstrual hygiene, sustainability, and empowerment. They made reusable pads, distributed them to girls in need, and promoted eco-friendly practices.

Adebola's initiative sparked a movement in her community. Girls felt more confident, and the environment benefited from reduced waste. Adebola's story inspired others to take control of their menstrual health and make a positive impact.

Leaving menstrual hygiene products like pads or tampons in place for too long can lead to various health issues, primarily due to bacterial growth and potential infections. Prolonged use can create a moist, warm environment that favors bacterial and fungal proliferation, potentially causing skin irritation, rashes, and infections like bacterial vaginosis or yeast infections. In rare cases, it can also increase the risk of Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS), especially with tampon use.
