The overall electorate numbers published by electoral monitoring groups indicate a highly diverse and youth-driven voter base:
Total Registered Voters: 2,339,233
Total Female Voters: 1,234,769 (52.79%)
Total Male Voters: 1,104,464 (47.21%)
Ages 18–34: 857,056 voters (36.64%)
Ages 35–49: 772,854 voters (33.04%)
Ages 50–69: 488,052 voters (20.86%)
Ages 70 and above: 221,271 voters (9.46%)

New Century Initiative participated in 2 days intensive training for Early Warning Networks and Local Leaders on Conflict Early Warning in Nigeria, organized by Global Rights in Abuja.

New Century Initiative participated in a meeting organized by Enugu State Ministry of Youth and Sport, under the invitation of the Special Assistant to Enugu State Governor on Youth Development and Mobilization.

The commissioner of youth and sports during his speech listed the work done by his Ministry which includes Rangers football wins, Agricultural empowerment programs and tech training to the youths.

In his speech, he admitted that his office failed on organising this kind of assembly but promised henceforth to start.

During the interactive session, youth representatives listed their demands, which includes:
1) Separation of Sports from youth development.
2) More appointment opportunities to increase the voices of the youths.
3) Taking development and empowerment programs to the communities.
4) The government should organize youth talents hurt for sports, entertainment and creative services.
5) The regulation of housing, lawyers and agents fees, etc.

Public education system in Nigeria needs critical attention. There is a huge gap in human development in Nigeria as a result of poor education infrastructure.
We call for partnership to improve primary and secondary education in Nigeria.
This is the basic education closest to an average Nigerian child.
