Rotary Club of Ekulu

Rotary Club of Ekulu Chartered in 1981 as the "first born" of RC Enugu, the Rotary Club of Ekulu is a dynamic family of highly esteemed unique individuals.

We place premium in the dignity in service, that's why we call ourselves the Dignified Club"

And for the 5th time, in the history of our great Club, The Rotary Club of Ekulu is producing a District Governor, thrice while the District was under 9140, and twice under the now 10 year old District 9142.

At the ongoing District Conference (DISCON2026) holding in Owerri, the entire District rises to herald the entry of our club's three-time President, Club Secretary and holder of several positions in the club and district, a favoured son of the seven states and our pride and joy!

Come July 1st 2026, our very own Rt. Chibuzo Asogwa "The Odogwu" of Rotary International will be installed as the 10th District Governor of District 9142, carrying the onerous task of creating Lasting Impact across the District and ensuring every Rotarian shines through Rotary like a STAR (Service. Teamwork. Action. & Results).

Congratulations ahead to DGE Chibuzo Asogwa
Congratulations to District 9142
Congratulations to Rotary Club of Ekulu
Vive La Rotary!

To a very humble, astute, friendly, calm, relatable family man, a past President of our distinguished club and a true jolly good fellow in deed, to whom we joyfully celebrate today on the occasion of his birthday.

We honour one of the finest brain surgeons in this clime, yet very unassuming and a fun guy to be with. We love you Rtn (Prof) Chika Ndubuisi and we celebrate you today and always.

What's a Rotary fellowship without Rotary songs? What does a song do for a typical Rotary meeting day?

1. A Perfect icebreaker
2. Spices up the vibe
3. It's a leveller, everyone joins in
4. Lifts our spirits
5. Leaves a beautiful memory

There can never be a fellowship without a Rotary song, irrespective of the mood of the day, there's a song to fit the occasion: in this case - we closed the fellowship with one of Rotary's most famous call to a tuon songs:

๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽถRotary My Rotary"๐ŸŽต๐ŸŽต๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽถ

We learn, we live, we serve. Learning is a big part of what we share in Rotary, aside from giving to humanity. Whether it's a Paul Harris lecture for Peace & Conflict Resolution, or a Business Lecture, or a conversation about applying the object of Rotary to our lives and careers, sharing knowledge goes beyond just being a task, at Rotary - it's a culture.

The "Unite for Good" year so far, has been a very eventful one in District 9242 and in our club. The theme of the rotary year, evokes the culture of togetherness, participation, commitment to the tenets and the object of Rotary - Service to Humanity. In our numerous engagements at the club, state and District levels, the call to unity is not just a concept that expires at the end of the 2025-2026 year, but it's become a culture.

Purpose, Community and Partnerships are three critical ingredients that sit at the core of what Rotary stands for, as no Rotarian is built to stand in isolation. We run together, we win together - for humanity. We win, when our community feels the impact of our service, we win when one life is changed, we win when at least, one life is positively impacted.

Competition is not in our lexicon, partnership for growth is.
