A Prayer for a Week of Unexpected Victory
Heavenly Father,
I come before You this week not in fear, but in faith. I know there are forces, seen and unseen, that expect me to falter. There are people and circumstances waiting to see weariness in my steps and tears in my eyes. They have prepared for my defeat; they have planned for my discouragement.
But I declare Your truth over their expectations.
Chi-ukwu, rewrite the narrative of this week. Where they expect me to break, let me bend with resilience. Where they anticipate frustration, let me find favor. Where they have sown traps, let me find open doors.
I ask for a breakthrough that leaves no room for doubt. Let every obstacle I face this week become a stepping stone toward my purpose. Let every closed door push me toward the door You have already opened. Grant me wisdom that disarms confusion, and favor that silences the voices of accusation.
Father, give me a supernatural supply of energy. Let my mind be sharp and clear, my body strong and healthy, and my spirit unshakable. When I am tired, be my strength. When I am uncertain, be my guide. When I am under pressure, be my peace.
I pray for divine connections—that the right people will cross my path, that assistance will come from unexpected places, and that the words I speak will carry weight and authority. Let every project I touch be blessed. Let every conversation I have produce fruit.
And most importantly, Onye Nsọ, guard my heart. Protect me from bitterness, envy, and doubt. Give me a spirit of gratitude that remains constant, regardless of the circumstances.
This week, let my victory be undeniable. Let my success be a testimony, not just to me, but to everyone who doubted. Let them see Your hand at work in my life.
And when this week is over, they will want to see tears in my eyes, but they will not be tears of sorrow. They will be TEARS OF JOY! Overflowing, uncontainable, and unmistakable! Tears that testify that You have done exceedingly, abundantly above all I could ask or imagine.
I seal this prayer with faith, believing that You are already going before me, making the crooked places straight.
In your mighty name, Amen. Chidinma Ann Arinze
