Thanks to your kind support, our students have successfully written their Common Entrance Examination, a key academic milestone that will enable them to be admitted into secondary school by Sept. This achievement is a strong reflection of the impact your donations are making in the lives of vulnerable children.

Your generosity has helped provide educational support, encouragement, and hope to children who might otherwise have been left behind.

As we celebrate this important progress, we are also preparing for the next step: supporting these students with the resources they need for a successful transition into secondary school, including school fees, uniforms, books, and other essential materials.

The increase of over 18.5 million out-of-school children in Nigeria, combined with the declining interest in STEM due to the lack of adequate learning spaces, is one of the major factors holding our communities back.

Without safe and inspiring classrooms, many young people—especially girls—are unable to access quality education or develop interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

We are committed to changing this narrative. By creating additional learning spaces, we aim to bridge the gap, restore hope, and equip young minds with the skills they need to thrive in today’s world.

We officially partnering with Screen Her. Screen Her is dedicated to protecting women from cervical and ovarian cancer—silent diseases that disrupt lives, families, and futures. Through early screening and awareness, we help women live healthy, confident, and fulfilled lives.

Nigeria bears one of the highest burdens of cervical cancer in sub-Saharan Africa, with thousands of new cases and deaths recorded annually. Many women are diagnosed at advanced stages due to lack of funds for medical treatment.

You can help through donations or sharing our cause with your friends.

Make a charitable donation through https://www.globalgiving.org/projects/ending-cervical-and-ovarian-cancer-awareness/ and get tax exempt receipt.

Children’s Storybook Title: The Unique Innovator. The Unique Innovator is a children’s storybook written by gurseerattkaur and prableenkakar with the support of our Chairman, Dr. Okeke Chidi. The book is designed to inspire school children in Nigeria to embrace creativity, curiosity, and innovative thinking from a young age.

Gurseerat and Prableen Kakar are 17-year-old identical twin sisters based in the United States, with a strong passion for innovation and scientific discovery. They have conducted laboratory research and worked on projects at MIT, demonstrating that young people can make meaningful contributions to science and society.

Through The Unique Innovator, children in Nigeria will learn that ideas, determination, and creativity have no boundaries. The book will be introduced to school children immediately when schools resume in January 2026, encouraging them to explore new ideas, think boldly, and believe in their ability to shape the future.

This initiative is one of the many steps we are taking to encourage global collaboration, youth leadership, and positive change. By sharing real-life stories of young innovators, we hope to inspire children everywhere to play their part in changing the world for the better.

Dear Esteemed Partners, Donors, and Volunteers,

As we approach the end of 2025, we would like to sincerely appreciate your unwavering support, dedication, and partnership. Your commitment has enabled Helpers Social Development Foundation to continue reaching families and underserved communities through child education sponsorships, classroom construction, community health outreaches, and solar-powered clean water projects.

Your actions, ideas, and encouragement have played a vital role in expanding our impact and improving lives in communities that need it most.

In addition, as a sub-recipient of The Global Fund–supported Community HIV and Tuberculosis (TB) Free Screening Program in Enugu State, we successfully identified HIV and TB cases within communities. This intervention has contributed significantly to reducing the spread of these diseases and saving countless lives.

As we look ahead to 2026, we are eager to strengthen our collaboration with you through:

1. Corporate rebranding initiatives
2. Strategic partnerships
3. Donations and sponsorships
4. Referrals of supporters and allies to our Foundation

Together, we can reach even more communities and create lasting impact.

Thank you for standing with us to build healthier, educated, and empowered communities.

Warm regards,
Helpers Social Development Foundation Team
