TOMORROW IS THE DAY

Tomorrow, we gather for the September edition of the No More Secrets Program.

Our conversation this month is:

Journaling and Releasing the Past

Some things are difficult to say out loud. Sometimes, writing gives us a gentle place to begin expressing, processing, and understanding what we have carried.

You don’t have to tell your whole story.
You don’t need to turn on your camera.
You won’t be pressured to speak.

Come as you are.

Tomorrow, Saturday, September 26, 2026

What if writing it down could help you begin letting it go?

Some experiences are difficult to say out loud. Some emotions have been carried quietly for years. Journaling can create a gentle, private space to reflect, process what you carry, and begin releasing the past.

Join Chioma Chime for the September edition of the No More Secrets Program.

Topic: Journaling and Releasing the Past

Together, we’ll explore how journaling can help you express what has been difficult to say, better understand your experiences, and take intentional steps toward healing and a lighter tomorrow.

You don't have to tell your whole story to begin healing. Sometimes, you can begin by simply writing one honest sentence.

Safeguarding is not an extra part of our work. It is part of responsible service.

Every programme, outreach, conversation, photograph, and story involving the people we serve must be handled with care.

At Sheros Empowerment Foundation, our commitment means:

• Respecting informed consent
• Protecting personal and sensitive information
• Maintaining appropriate boundaries
• Preventing exploitation, harm, and unnecessary exposure
• Responding responsibly when concerns are raised
• Prioritising the safety and dignity of children, survivors, volunteers, and community members

Good intentions are not enough. The way support is delivered matters just as much as the support itself.

We are committed to building programmes where people feel safe, respected, heard, and protected.

Help us build safer programmes and stronger communities.

Sometimes, safety begins with something as simple as the way we respond.

When someone chooses to speak about something difficult, they do not always need immediate advice. Sometimes, they need to be heard without judgment, believed without shame, and treated with dignity.

A safe space is not only a room. It is created through compassion, patience, respect, and the assurance that a person’s voice matters.

At Sheros Empowerment Foundation, we believe the way we respond can either deepen silence or create room for healing, trust, and hope.

Listen with compassion. Respond with respect. Let your response become a safe place for someone.

Help should never make people feel small.

True support protects dignity. It listens with respect. It gives without shaming. It empowers without controlling.

At Sheros Empowerment Foundation, we believe every person deserves to be treated with value, compassion, and respect.

Dignity must remain at the heart of service.

Let us serve with compassion.
