JUSTICE & PROTECTION | HJIUF Women’s Week 2026
Day 4 | 26 March 2026

Access to justice must not end at first response. It must be sustained through coordinated protection and effective legal remedy.

This engagement reflects a collaboration between the Hon. Justice Innocent Umezulike Foundation and the Nigerian Police Force, recognising the police as the primary point of first response for women seeking protection.

Through its Legal Aid and Law Clinic Services, the Foundation provides complementary legal support, ensuring continuity from report to resolution and strengthening outcomes for women and girls seeking justice.

Today, we are working alongside the Rivers State Command in advancing a more coordinated and effective justice process.

Because justice must follow through.

: FIVE WOMEN, ONE QUESTION

HJIUF Women’s Week 2026

And the voices continue; strong, assured, and unapologetic. Each one distinct. Each one grounded. Each one worthy of being heard.

There is power in this kind of presence; women speaking from experience, from work, from lived reality.

Today Day 3 of the HJIUF Women’s Week, the we celebrate presence. Not quietly. Not partially. But fully.

Because here, every voice matters. And every voice here counts.
