NELO DREAMS FOUNDATION AND RANGERS INTERNATIONAL FC FOUNDATION DELIVER COMMUNITY HEALTH OUTREACH TO WUINM VILLAGE, KUJE, ABUJA

ABUJA, NIGERIA – September 4, 2026. In a show of commitment to grassroots health and well-being, NELO DREAMS FOUNDATION, in partnership with RANGERS INTERNATIONAL FC FOUNDATION successfully conducted a community outreach program in Wuinm Village, outskirts of Kuje, Abuja

The program brought critical education and engagement directly to residents in three key areas: Mental Health, Hygiene, and Reproductive Health

The outreach brought together men, women, and children of the Wuinm community for an interactive session. Community members actively participated, asking questions and sharing concerns in an open and respectful environment.

KEY OUTCOMES:
1. AWARENESS: Residents received practical, evidence-based information on managing mental health, maintaining hygiene, and understanding reproductive health.
2. DIGNITY: The program created a safe space where community members could speak freely, be heard, and be treated with respect.
3. HOPE: By bringing services and knowledge to their doorstep, the outreach reinforced that their health and well-being matter.

The people of Wuinm expressed deep appreciation and delight at having the organizations in their community.

"This is what sustainable community development looks like and with great partnership for more impact states Coach Ebere Amaraizu .On her part the cyndy Eluwa the Board secretary of NELO DREAMS FOUNDATION intl maintained that "When we combine education with dignity, we plant seeds of lasting change. SEL and informed health choices are the foundation of stronger families and stronger communities."

Both organizations reaffirmed their commitment to expanding access to health education and psychosocial support in underserved communities across the FCT.

BEYOND THE PITCH: Building Leaders with Taekwondo + SEL + REBT
GTC Enugu | RIFC Foundation.

We went beyond the pitch at GTC Enugu.

Using the instrumentality of Taekwondo + SEL + REBT, we trained students in:
Hard work. Discipline. Perseverance. Indomitable Spirit. Courage. Focus. Purpose. General body coordination. Self-confidence.

Why?
Because these are the foundations of Strategic Leadership and Sustainable Development.

Every kick counts
Not for points in competition.
But because every kick drives consistency — and consistency is the bridge to achieving life dreams.

Every kick is earned
Not in competition.
But in training. In repetition. In character.

Most importantly: Self-confidence is earned
With the mindset of "I CAN always do it"
— not "I CAN'T because self doubt .
We replaced quick fixes and offending behaviors with courage, focus, and ownership.

Happy to Share: Nelo Dreams Foundation’s Community Program in Dogongada, FCT Abuja on 30/7/2026.

We just concluded a community-focused program on Women’s Mental Health, Hygiene, and Reproductive Health
organized by Nelo Dreams Foundation International in Partnership with Rangers International Football Club foundation for the women of Dogongada Community, FCT Abuja.

And it was worthwhile.

Why? Because we didn’t just talk.
We created safe spaces for women to:
1. Understand their mental health and emotional well-being
2. Learn practical hygiene practices for dignity and health
3. Access accurate information on reproductive health to make informed choices

The best part:
The intervention is running in clusters.
This means more women, more communities, and deeper reach — community by community.

Because when women are well mentally, physically, and emotionally,
families are stronger and communities thrive.

Skills for the hand. Skills for the heart.
Thank you to the women of Dogongada for your openness, courage, and trust.

Happy to share that RIFC Foundation successfully conducted an SEL Inter-Class Debate at Government Technical College Enugu.

Year 1 vs Year 2 students went head-to-head on Critical Thinking Skills.

But this was not just about winning arguments.

This was an assessment exercise for our ongoing SEL + REBT Intervention Framework in GTC.

What we saw:
1. Students argued with logic, not noise - because they’ve learned to PAUSE before reacting
2. They evaluated their points - because they’ve learned to QUESTION the belief behind their stance
3. They shared insights from the SEL toolkits - because they’ve learned to UPDATE harmful thinking

Measurement matters.
Debate became our tool to test: Can students name emotions? Dispute beliefs? Make responsible decisions under pressure?

The answer was YES.

This is what happens when technical skills meet emotional intelligence.
Skills for the hand. Skills for the heart. Skills for the future.

Grateful to GTC Enugu students who showed up as thinkers, not just speakers.

At GTC Enugu, through our Beyond The Pitch initiative, we teach more than skills.
We teach Critical Thinking + SEL + REBT.

Why?
Because a certificate gets you into an organization.
But Critical Thinking keeps you in the job.

To deepen this, we are hosting a SEL Debate:
Year 1 vs Year 2
Theme: _“Critical Thinking is more important than Technical Skills for Workplace Success”

Purpose:
1. Further assess students’ SEL growth
2. Strengthen employability skills and workplace readiness
3. Build resistance to vulnerability and offending behaviors

We are raising young people who do not just accept everything.
They ask questions. They test ideas. They think before they act.

Technical skills open the door. Critical thinking keeps you in the room.
