In times of conflict, the most devastating truth is often the invisible one. Every school reduced to rubble is a dream deferred. Every child forced into survival mode is a voice lost. For the Raymond Ofodu Foundation (TROF), this is personal. We are on the ground, but we are also calling on you.

When schools are targeted, the future is targeted. Let’s stand as a shield. Education is a lifeline, not a casualty.

Where can we all do better to safeguard a child’s right to peace? 🤔 Share your thoughts below. 👇

Dangers of Child Labour

Child labour exposes children to serious dangers many people underestimate.

Children working on the streets face risks including road accidents, abuse, trafficking, and emotional trauma.

What may look like “hard work” on the surface is often a child navigating unsafe environments just to survive.

This is why child protection awareness is critical in our communities.

At The Raymond Ofodu Foundation (TROF), we are advocating for safer environments where children are protected and given the opportunity to go to school and build a better future.

Children should never have to trade their childhood for survival.

Let’s speak up. Protect every child.

It’s time to talk about the scars we can’t see. 🧠💔

In Nigeria, we often focus on physical discipline, but we overlook the words and behaviors that break a child’s spirit. We call it “training” or “discipline,” but often, it’s emotional abuse in disguise.
From the silent treatment to using guilt as a weapon, these patterns stay with us long into adulthood.

At the Raymond Ofodu Foundation (TROF), we believe child protection includes safeguarding their mental and emotional health. Emotional abuse is often ignored because it doesn’t leave bruises, but the internal damage can last a lifetime.

Swipe right ➡️ to see 5 signs of emotional abuse that have become “normal” in our society.

Let’s be honest: Have you experienced any of these, or have you seen them happen? Let’s break the cycle in the comments. 👇

Protecting our children isn’t a part-time job—it’s a systemic commitment. 🛡️

At The Raymond Ofodu Foundation (TROF), we believe that slogans don’t keep children safe; systems do. That’s why we’ve built our mission on three unshakable pillars:

✅ Child Protection & Safeguarding
✅ Education & Youth Empowerment
✅ Community Advocacy & Systems Strengthening

From classrooms to community centers, we are on the ground making child rights a reality. We aren’t just talking about a better future; we are building it.

Discipline Teaches. Abuse Hurts. 🚫

It’s easy to react in frustration, but true discipline happens in the calm. Let’s stop excusing “emotional explosions” as culture and start normalizing healthy correction.

A child should feel safe approaching you even after they’ve made a mistake. Are you building trust or building fear?

The Raymond Ofodu Foundation (TROF) believes every child deserves to be guided without being broken.

It takes a village to raise a child—and a village to protect one. 🏘️❤️

Monday is about fresh starts, and today we’re starting a conversation that matters. Safety education isn’t just about teaching girls to say “no”; it’s about teaching adults how to say “I hear you, I believe you, and I will help.”

Check out our guide on handling unsafe touch and help us spread this vital information.
