10 Reasons Awgu Egbeleli should be Debulked and Metered over Electricity Supply
11 November 2023
1. It will draw EEDC to be dealing directly with individuals over bill collection, disconnections, reconnections and repairs and no longer with a village or community.
2. It will upgrade the perception of EEDC over Awgu Egbeleli, moving from grade F to grade B or A.
3. It will greatly improve the duration of electricity supply to Awgu Egbeleli. We will attain at least 12 hours daily electricity supply.
4. It will draw EEDC to open service office in Awgu Egbeleli.
5. It will stop people who collect electricity bill money from individuals and use it for their personal matters instead of paying to EEDC.
6. It will stop the problem of billing us high and for electricity we didn't use.
7. It will draw EEDC to quickly rectify any fault that will cause us not to have electricity supply.
8. NERC directed that Awgu Egbeleli town should be debulked so we can be metered because they know that Awgu is overdue for that.
9. EEDC top management is ready to give Awgu prepaid meters in bulk within 21 working days after payment, if we can meet up with the requirements for debulking.
10. ATEC and Transformer Overseers will have little or no work to do over Awgu Egbeleli electricity if Awgu Egbeleli is debulked and metered.
