World Health Day 2026
The theme for the World Health Day 2026 usually every 7th April is, “Together for Health. Stand with Science”.

At Bina Foundation, this is not just a conversation, it is part of our work. Through medical outreaches, health screenings, awareness campaigns, and support services, we continue to reach vulnerable communities, ensuring that persons with disabilities and others have access to basic healthcare and the information they need to live healthier lives.

Good health is something we all need, but not everyone has equal access to it.

This year’s theme reminds us that improving health is a shared responsibility. When we stand together, trust science, and support one another, we create stronger and healthier communities.
From medical outreaches to health awareness programs, we remain committed to ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to live a healthy and dignified life.

Because health is not a privilege it is a right.

International Day of Sport for Development and Peace 2026
Theme: Sport: Building Bridges, Breaking Barriers
Sport has a way of bringing people together in ways words sometimes cannot.

Today 6th April, 2026, Bina Foundation commemorates the international Day of Sport for Development and Peace.

Bina Foundation through her founder Lady Ifeoma Atuegwu have seen how sport breaks down barriers, barriers of disability, doubt, and limitation. On the field, what matters is teamwork, trust, and the shared goal to move forward together.

This year’s theme reminds us that sport is more than competition. It is a connection. It is inclusion. It is a bridge that allows people from different backgrounds and abilities to stand on the same ground.
Through blind football and other inclusive sports, Bina foundation continues to create spaces where everyone belongs, everyone participates, and everyone is seen.

Because when barriers are broken, possibilities begin.

Easter is a season of hope, renewal, and new beginnings.
This season reminds us that no matter the challenges people face, there is always room for growth, healing, and a fresh start. It is a time to reflect on the power of love, kindness, and the importance of standing for one another.

As we celebrate Easter, we are reminded that true impact comes from giving hope, creating opportunities, and lifting others along the way. That is the spirit that continues to guide our work every day.

From all of us at Bina Foundation, we wish you a peaceful and joyful Easter filled with love, renewed strength, and brighter possibilities ahead.

There are moments that remind us why we do what we do and this is one of them.

Bina Foundation was proud to be present at the matriculation ceremony of our own Ofordile Lovelyn Kelechi on the 7th of March, 2026, as she officially began her journey in the Department of Special Education, Faculty of Education.

Lovelyn has been a part of the Bina Foundation family for years. From learning bead making with us to consistently showing up for our programs and always answering when called, she has remained committed, resilient, and focused on her growth.

Watching her take this next step is not just inspiring, it is deeply fulfilling. It reminds us that every little effort, every training, every moment of support truly matters.

We are proud of you, Lovelyn.

Your journey is just beginning, and we are cheering you on every step of the way.

On the 6th of January 2026, Bina Foundation proudly joined the disability community in Awgu, Enugu State, to commemorate the World Disability Celebration Day.
It was more than just an event because to us, it was a powerful reminder of inclusion, resilience, and the beauty of showing up for one another. From cultural displays to moments of unity and celebration, the day reflected the strength and vibrancy of Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) and the community that stands with them.
The President and Founder of Bina Foundation, Lady Ifeoma Atuegwu, was specially recognized for her indefatigable and unflinching dedication and impact in transforming the lives of PWDs. This moment of recognition speaks volumes of the lives touched, the hope restored, and the consistent advocacy that continues to drive real change.
We remain committed to empowering, supporting, and creating opportunities for persons with disabilities because true impact is measured in the lives we uplift and the voices we help amplify.

Bina Foundation joins the world in celebrating the strength, resilience, and impact of women everywhere.

The theme for International Women’s Day 2026 reminds us that when women support one another through mentorship, collaboration, and shared opportunities, everyone benefits. Progress becomes faster, communities become stronger, and equality moves closer to reality.

At Bina Foundation, we see every day how investing in women especially women with disabilities and those from vulnerable communities creates lasting change. When women are given the space, resources, and encouragement to grow, they become leaders, innovators, and powerful voices for inclusion.

This day is a reminder that gender equality is not achieved alone. It grows through collective effort, through lifting one another, and through creating opportunities that allow every woman to thrive.

As we celebrate, we reaffirm our commitment to supporting women and girls, promoting inclusion, and building a future where every woman’s ability, voice, and contribution is valued.

Because when we give support, opportunity, and belief to women, we all gain.

HARVEST OF GOALS DURING THE Bina Foundation BLIND FOOTBALL TRAINING

The “Harvest of Goals” was one of the most exciting parts of the blind football training.
We gathered all the goals scored throughout the entire match campaign, every shot on target, every brave attempt, every moment of triumph.

Watching these athletes celebrate each successful goal reminds us why we do this.

Every goal represents progress, confidence, and possibility.

Bina Foundation commemorates the World Braille Day on the 4th January, 2026. We may be a few days past January 4, but the message of International Braille Day is too important to be limited to a date.

This January, BINA Foundation begins the year by celebrating Braille a powerful tool that has opened doors to education, independence, and opportunity for millions of blind and visually impaired people around the world.

Braille is not just about reading dots on a page.
It is about access.
It is about dignity.
It is about the freedom to learn, to dream, and to participate fully in society.

Over the years, we have seen how literacy changes lives, how a simple skill can build confidence, restore hope, and give someone the power to tell their own story. That is why Braille remains at the heart of inclusion.

As we step into a new year, we reaffirm our commitment to promoting accessibility, education, and equal opportunities for persons with disabilities.

Because when knowledge is accessible, potential becomes limitless.
