As gold is picked from the depths unattractive and refined to become a treasure of great value, so did Daddy pick me, work on me and impacted into me invaluable treasures, values that transcend generations.

He saw greatness in me and made me see and believe it against all odds.

A man once came across a restaurant that had on its doorpost, "FREE FOOD, YOUR GRANDFATHER HAS PAID FOR IT". The man walked into the restaurant and ordered so much food that when he had eaten to his satisfaction, he also ordered for take-aways.

When he was done and wanted to go, the waiter asked him to pay and he said, "But you told me that was free. My grandfather had paid for it all". The waiter responded, " That is true, your grandfather has paid for all that you ordered but you will have to pay for what your grandson will order."

As funny as this story is, that is the reflection of our society today. Our society is in dire need of entrepreneurial leaders, contributors and not consumers, men who are asking, "What can I give?", not people who asking, "What can I take?".

Nigeria and Africa at large is in dire need of entrepreneurial leaders. Guess what- you can be one.

The major turning point in the life of every individual and society lies in their ability to turn their ideas into realities, their thoughts into stuffs, their visions into provisions and their potentials into possibilities.

A wise man once said that the wealthiest place on earth is a cemetery because there lies books that were never written, businesses that were never started and solutions that saw the light of day..

The gap between Africa and the developed world is not because of the colour of our skin but the limitations of our minds.

Africa needs more founders and less copiers. We are quick to copy but no matter how good the photocopy is, it can never be the original.

Are you asking yourself, "I have a lot of great ideas but how do I start?" This meeting is for you.

By the grace of God, I have had the privilege of starting a lot of things, initiatives and organisations, from starting fellowships in cities where I had never been to before as a student, to starting and building the largest INDEPENDENT youth choir in Enugu, and to even planting a church in a rural community without a single contact person in the community before my arrival, to starting and raising fund for businesses.

The good news is that whether it is a career, ministry or business, there is a pattern and that pattern is what I will be sharing in this meeting.

I was just a fresh rookie leaving campus, full of fire, vigour and passion. Like the young lion, my teeth was white and my eyes were red. But I was a raw rookie, too raw to operate on my full potential.

Then he took me in and taught me. He developed me into the leader I was meant to be and he impacted him to make impact.

I might have begged bread due to the limitation of my knowledge but by God's divine mercy and grace in Christ, I haven't been forsaken. HOWEVER my seed shall NEVER beg bread.

Fatherhood is finding the path, blazing the trail so others can follow with ease. It is fighting and winning the battles that my fathers couldn't fight so that my seed won't have to fight them. It is gathering and equipping my seed with all that will be needed to build the temple that I couldn't build.

Fatherhood is a selfless sacrificial commitment to abandoning the past and living for the future...

This is my ideology and legacy of fatherhood. Thank God for the journey thus far.
