On Saturday, AfriLED Foundation officially flagged off the Student-Entrepreneurs Club ( ) Accelerator Cohort 3 Workshop at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
This year, the accelerator welcomed 45 undergraduate beneficiaries drawn from nine universities across Nigeria, marking the widest reach of the program so far.
Over the next nine months, these young innovators will undergo intensive training in self-discovery, leadership development, entrepreneurship, and problem-solving, while receiving close, personalized mentorship designed to help them transform ideas into viable ventures and impactful initiatives.
What stood out during the kickoff workshop was the energy, curiosity, and determination of these young Nigerians.
Across the room were students eager to learn, build solutions, and become the kind of leaders capable of shaping a better future for the country and the continent.
As part of our continued commitment to supporting emerging entrepreneurs, AfriLED Foundation through GYM support also presented ₦50,000 startup support each to six outstanding beneficiaries from Cohort 2, recognizing their consistency and dedication in pursuing their entrepreneurial journeys since the completion of Cohort 2 in 2025.
The Student-Entrepreneurs Club Accelerator remains one of AfriLED’s flagship initiatives focused on raising a generation of self-aware, problem-solving and impact-driven young leaders and entrepreneurs across Nigerian campuses.
We believe that when young people are equipped with the right mindset, skills, mentorship and opportunities, they can become powerful drivers of economic growth, social innovation, and sustainable development.
