When the possible w@r between the Easterners and the rest of Nigeria was around the corner, Britain did not think twice before knowing who to support. They took cognisance of their interest and made their decision. Their decision wasn't based on morality or sentiment. It is based on interest. What position can we take that will benefit Great Britain? They did not say, Biafrans are Christians, we should defend them. They decided to support the Muslim North, arm them and use them to finish up the East.
This decision is what serves the interests of Britain and they went for it.
The Igbo people are wise and educated and educated people are always stubborn and not easy to control. Leave Nigeria in the hands of the Igbo people Nigería will be completely self-independent and this won't help Britain. Britain even though they have left Nigeria still wants to control it. And with the Igbo people in charge, they can't be able to control Nigeria. The best way to control Nigería is to leave Nigeria in the hands of a tribe that has nothing to lose even if the country burns. These people aren't indigenous to Nigeria and will gladly aid the British looting of the resources as long as they are also in charge and looting.
Britain armed them, used the media to make the world think Biafrans are the problem, when in truth they are the victims. That was how a Christian nation helped in the annihilation of a people they sold Christianity. They aided the Islamic decimation of Christianity.
I did not say these things to make you hate any religion. I am saying them for you to understand what exactly geopolitics is all about. It is a game of interest.
In Britain's decision about Biafra and Nigería they discarded morality, truth and sentiment. They were thinking about what would benefit them only. And that decision has fed them for more than 50 years. So you think Britain will take such a decision in their internal matters? When Scotland was seeking nationhood, Britain did not seek war. They agreed to a referendum because they don't like the British people to slaughter themselves. But they did not mind using Islamic North to decimate the Christian Biafrans seeking the same thing.
China will allow fake products to move from China to any part of the world, but it is a death sentence to sell such products inside Chinese territory. This is the difference between a domestic decision and an international decision. Domestically, they apply morality, but internationally they base everything on interest. China takes advantage of countries like Nigería that have decided to be a dumping ground for fake products to enrich their nation, but such should not be seen within their country.
Are you now getting the point?
As I said, this post is for academic purposes. I want to use it to educate Biafrans on how to approach geopolitics.
It is an act of foolishness to say that Palestine is seeking freedom, and we are also seeking freedom, so we should support them. This is insanity. What can you gain in supporting Palestine is the main question. Also, you can't say they are bullying Iran, so we should support Iran. That's a stupid thing to say. Do not forget that Palestine knows Biafrans are seeking freedom too but they support Nigería. The Islamic regime in Iran cannot support Biafra against Nigeria. Doing that is working against Islamic interests.
Biafrans therefore, must jettison all forms of sentiments, dogmatism, and morality when making decisions in geopolitics.
The right thing to say is that, America and Israel are better allies to Biafra. And nothing concerns you with what is between America and Iran, or Israel and Palestine.
