in commemoration of the world Malaria Day, 2026, FELICITAS ADVOCACY DEVELOPMENT AND LEADERSHIP joined the
The Excellence Community Education Welfare Scheme (ECEWS) and the State Malaria Elemination Program (SMEP) and other ACOMIN representatives in a roadwalk against malaria on 28th April, 2026.

The show is to sensitize the public on the need to always use Government to health facilities for malaria tests before commencing treatment of malaria, and to uphold a commendable personal and public hygienic practices that help prevent malaria.

Remember: Assumption can be a threat. NOT ALL FEVER IS MALARIA.

On 7th DECEMBER, 2025, Orchard Hub Foundation in partnership with Felicitas Women Advocacy Development and Leadership conducted her Christmas Cheer Food Drive for 50 people including 4 Persons with Disabilities (PWDs sight deficiency)! The Team

The highlights of the occasion include sharing of Clothings, Bags, Snacks and Food Stuff . Participants were full of appreciation, while their excitement knows no bound. Out of happiness and tears of joy rolling down their chips, they showered much blessings on the Organizers!

As an organization that thrives on the happiness and well-being of the Masses, this exercise is a motivation.

In addition, We sincerely appreciate Dr. Keyna Udenze, the CEO of Orchard Hub Foundation for her Benevolent Heart, and our indefatigable Executive Director, Mrs Amaka Kelechi for making sure this exercise was a huge success!

DAY ONE of the FELICITAS Women Advocacy Development and Leadership, (F-WAD) HUMAN DEVELOPMENT TRAINING WORKSHOP PHASE ONE AND PHASE TWO holding at National Renewal Center, Iva Valley, Enugu for sisters of various congregations across Nigeria.

This one week workshop is aimed at equipping the participants with effective leadership, communication, financial literacy and self enhancement and management skills to enable them functions actively in their various communities, and above all, serve God and humanity better.

DAY ONE Features sharing of leadership experiences, where the facilitator, Mrs Amaka Kelechi, our Executive Director guided the participants to discuss various leadership roles they play in their various communities, what they enjoy about it, challenges they face and how they cope with the challenges.
The day one also features workshop on active listening skill and how to be a good listener.

FELICITAS WOMEN ADVOCACY DEVELOPMENT AND LEADERSHIP attended a 2-day capacity building workshop on ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISMS AND ZERO CORRUPTION IN RESPONDING TO SGBV CASES, organized by WACOL in partnership with WARDC and ABOVE WHISPERS, with support from MCARTHUR FOUNDATION.

In the workshop, we discussed various ways SGBV cases are manipulated in the justice ecosystem.

We as well highlighted the role of CSOs in curbing this act and how to hold every actor handling SGBV cases accountable to avoid manipulation.

CSOs of Enugu VPL ( an EU-ACT programme activities) group led by Prof. Okechukwu from IGD Organization paid a courtesy visit to Congratulate our own dear Hon. Chika Mbah who the Gov. of Enugu State elevated to the position of Managing Director of Enugu Rural Water and Sanitation Agency (ERUWASA), on Nov 15th at Her office at Secretariate. Felicitas Women Advocacy Development and Leadership, F-WAD was among the CSOs present. The meeting was interactive and informative as Hon. Chika enlightened us on the activities of the Agency and efforts of the State Leadership in bringing water to the people of Enugu State.

In commemoration of the INTERNATIONAL DAY FOR THE GIRL CHILD, FELICITAS WOMEN ADVOCACY DEVELOPMENT AND LEADERSHIP organized a ONE DAY activity with the Management, Parents and students of NOTRE DAME ACADEMY, ENUGU. The theme for the year is GIRLS' VISION FOR THE FUTURE.

During the interactive session, the students pinpoints some UNHEALTHY CULTURAL/TRADITIONAL PRACTICES, EARLY MARRIAGE, SEXUAL HARASSMENT and PATRIARCHY as the major factors working against the VISION and FUTURE of the girl child in our society.

The Executive Director encouraged the GIRLS never to allow these factors deter them from pursuing and realizing their dreams.

The BOYS were encouraged to give the girl child every support required to enable them actualize their dreams.

She also adjoined PARENTS to always give equal thriving opportunity to both their Male and Female children alike to help them maximize their potentials.

Attended a one day Strategic Meeting of Formation and Networking of Women in Politics Enugu Forum, for increased women's representation in the upcoming LGA Elections and subsequent Elections in Enugu State, Organized by WACOL in partnership with IFES and support from
USAID, and FCDO .at Gold Value Hotel New Haven Enugu on 16th, September 2024.

The Facilitator Bar. (Mrs), Nnenna Anozie motivated the participants and aspirants to be self confident, self reliance, develop themselves, be committed and participate actively in their Political Parties activities in order to be relevant and equipped for Leadership. She also encouraged women to always support fellow women who are credible with a good track record whenever they are aspiring for any political position. The workshop was interactive, informative and inspiring! Kudos to WACOL!
