Thirteen (13) years ago, after losing my sight, I faced the darkest moments of my life but today, as a public health nurse and mental health advocate, I stand as a beacon of hope. Once in need, I am now privileged to support others affected by neglected tropical diseases, guiding them through psychological first aid. Our life decisions shape us now, I choose to be the support I once needed. Let’s remember: mental health is a lifeline, and every step forward is a decision to rise.
