THE ANCESTORS OF THE BLACK RACE ARE NOT EVIL...
Dearly beloved,
I think it’s time we educated our children that our ancestors and forebears were not evil people neither were they idol worshippers
They were good and nice people without whom we ourselves would never have come into existence!
Let’s stop vilifying those that gave us life
Before the colonial masters invaded Africa my ancestors worshipped Chineke (God of creation) and they also called him Chukwu (Almighty God)
These names were in existence long before the Europeans came
Again we have to discard this deceit of “Ancestral curse”
It seems it’s only the Blackman’s ancestors that left a curse to his descendants
If a country is impoverished and backward because of blood shed then this place we have run away to would be in ruins.
Read history, the European committed unspeakable atrocities and bloodshed
Their kings and emperors massacred, forcefully enslaved, killed and shed innocent blood
Yet they don’t vilify their ancestors.
They keep singing their glorious songs
Have we not heard of the British kings history of invasion and massacres of indigenous peoples and tribes
Have we not heard of what King Leopold II of Belgium did in Congo?
Or what Germany did in Namibia?
Or is it what USA has done across the globe
Yet their ancestors have no curse
It seems the more blood their ancestors shed, the more blessings came their way!
But for us Africans, our Ancestors are evil and cursed people?
I as a person know that father was not an evil person, neither was my grandfather or his father before him
My ndi-ichie lived and died as good and great people
And their good deeds live in me and my children and their children yet unborn
There is a great chance that if we continue like this, ours own generations to come will also call us evil and vilify us
Now is the time to educate our children
THE BLACK MAN’s ancestors are not evil and idol worshipers
