Convinced of the need to accelerate the process of promoting and supporting the treaty establishing the African Economic Community in order to promote the socioeconomic development of African Youth. Guided by the common vision of a united and strong Africa and by the need to build a partnership between government and all segment of civil society, particularly youth, in order to strengthen solidarity and cohesion among African Youth. Determined to promote and protect African Youth rights, consolidate democratic institutions and culture and to promote and support good governance and the rule of law in African Countries. Further determined to support all necessary measures to strengthen our common institution and support their Authorities and resources to enable them discharge their respective mandates
