The Federation of Muslim Women Association in Nigeria FOMWAN Yobe State has donated raw food items to vulnerable and widow women in Damaturu the Yobe state capital. About 150 widows and vulnerable women benefited from this distribution. FOMWAN Yobe thanks His Excellency the Executive Governor of Yobe state Hon Mai Malah Buni for supporting the organisation with food items through the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) and the ministry of Humanitarian and disaster management. We also thank the North East Development Commission (NEDC) for their support. Food items distributed include rice, spaghetti, sugar, vegetable oil and maize etc

Amirah Fomwan Yobe with naiba II, Secretary and Da'awa officer paid condolence and simpathy visit to a vulnerable family at Sani Daura housing estate extension whose house was completely burnt down and 3 of their children lost their lives in the fire incident. Amirah Fomwan Yobe with some of her exco members visited the family and donated food items to them.
