Education goes beyond classrooms, it builds resilience, restores ecosystems and creates opportunities.

This , NCACI celebrates education as a catalyst for climate action, land restoration and sustainable livelihoods in climate-vulnerable communities of Northern Nigeria.

When communities learn, land recovers and futures are secured.

Our project tackles the growing desertification and loss of farmland in Machina. Years of deforestation and poor land use have hurt crop production and livelihoods. We restore degraded land, support climate-smart farming, and help the community adapt to climate change

Strengthening Collaboration for Impact!

Yesterday, Nature Conservation Advocates for Climate Initiative (NCACI) participated in a roundtable session organized by HumAngle Foundation at Bricks Point Hotel, Damaturu, Yobe State.

The meeting brought together Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) across the Northeast to explore partnership opportunities and joint actions in the humanitarian and development sectors.

Representing NCACI, our Program Manager, Muhammad Nur, engaged in productive discussions on:

Leveraging media partnerships for greater community impact.

Strengthening grassroots intelligence and response capacity.

Building sustainable collaboration frameworks.

The dialogue marks an important step toward amplifying local voices, improving coordination, and enhancing the reach of humanitarian interventions in the region.

Together we’re building stronger, more resilient communities in the Northeast
