Every year, people say, “You’ve done it again!” But the truth is, we don’t do it alone. All we do is draw up the plans, identify the speakers, and make funds available. The real work, the heart of ex*****on, belongs to our amazing volunteers.

From logistics to coordination, ushering to participant management, they carry the HERday vision on their shoulders with so much love and grace. This year, like every other, they gave it their all.

A special thank you to Odu Ebam-Paul who has led the volunteer team since day one. Your commitment, strength, and quiet leadership have kept this engine running. Seeing you sit as a speaker on the Future of Work Panel this year filled us with immense pride. You are living proof of growth, resilience, and impact.

To Elizabeth Ndukwu, thank you for stepping up this year to support Odu as she prepared for her session. You handled every detail with such calmness and confidence that made the day flow seamlessly. We see you, Lizzy, and we appreciate you deeply.

To our newest volunteer, Offiong Ikpeme , what a beautiful addition you have been. From serving as my PA during the event to generously providing your mini bus to convey students, you embodied true service and humility. Thank you for giving so selflessly.

We are also profoundly grateful to Kingsley Undiandeye who from day one has masterfully managed all our logistics. Your consistency, attention to detail, and ability to make things work, even under pressure, have been the quiet force behind every successful edition of HERday. We truly couldn’t have done it without you.

And finally, our heartfelt gratitude to Street Priests, our partners in purpose. For two consecutive editions, you have provided your bus to convey students to HERday. That simple act of generosity has opened doors for so many girls to experience this life-changing event.

To every volunteer who carried a chair, guided a student, shared a smile, or worked behind the scenes, you are the heartbeat of HERday.

Thank you for making this our most impactful edition yet.

With love and pride,
Justina Ovat

Thank you, Iquo, for inspiring us to never give up and for showing us practically what it means to “get up from setbacks and keep going.” Your courage will forever echo in the hearts of every participant.
