Street Priests A Global movement of revolutionaries changing the world one street child at a time.

Founded in 2014, Street Priests Incorporated is a registered non-profit organization, driven by a network of volunteers who serve with the vision of transforming the lives of children on the street and turning their potentials into assets for society. With no restrictions in admission, Street Priests focuses on all street children from ages 0 – 18 years. Programs and activities are carried out to positively engage, equip, mentor, and rehabilitate children who live and work on the street.

When a society starts treating its children as the problem, it’s a sign that the very institutions built to protect their innocence have failed and that failure deserves honest reflection, not denial.

We are a nonprofit organization that serves in a civic capacity, holding government accountable to its primary constituents —particularly the most vulnerable among them: children living on the streets.

A child should never have to survive on the streets or be harmed by the very systems meant to protect them.

Following the March 19 incident involving the children and the CUDA task force officials, came to Calabar to document the story, hear our concerns, and look deeper into the realities children face on the streets.

They also followed the story of Daniel Iboro once a child we met on the streets, now a fast rising DJ building a life beyond the streets.

Two stories, One message: Protect, don’t punish.
