There's a quiet difference between a voice that serves people and a voice that performs for them.
A voice that serves asks: "What does this person actually need to hear?" A voice that performs asks: "What will make this land well?" Both can produce the exact same words. Only one of them will still feel true to you at midnight, alone, with no likes in sight.
Tonight isn't about guilt. It's about honesty. Which voice have you been using more this month?
"Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven." — Matthew 6:1
Whatever the answer, there's room to recalibrate. Nobody builds a perfectly sincere voice on the first attempt.
