On Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Signature by Royalty in Uyo, we unveiled Development Options Honours (DOH)—our flagship annual initiative designed to celebrate exceptional contributions by individuals and corporate entities across all sectors of social accountability, with a special focus on women and youth development.
The maiden edition of DOH featured the inaugural Akwa Ibom Impact Honours (AIIH), integrated into DOH to provide structure and long-term sustainability. AIIH was presented as a core highlight of The Conversations Experience – Akwa Ibom, a concert hosted by DO’s founder, Dr. Uduak Daniel.
At this historic outing, 18 distinguished honourees, including Nigeria's Quincy Jones, Lemmy Jackson and 90-year-old Pa Udooto Uwomodoimo were recognized for their outstanding impact, marking the beginning of a tradition that will continue to spotlight excellence and inspire greater commitment to social development.
