Healing starts with honesty.

Before you can heal, you have to identify what is actually hurting.

Is it rejection?
Pride?
Jealousy?
Disappointment?
Unforgiveness?

If the wound is never identified, changing churches, relationships, or environments will not heal it.

You may simply carry the same pain into a new place.

Name the wound so God can begin the healing.

Correction is not always rejection.
Sometimes, it is one of the clearest expressions of genuine love.

A real friend won’t just clap for you when you’re right they’ll care enough to tell you the truth when you’re wrong.

The Bible says, “Faithful are the wounds of a friend…” — Proverbs 27:6.

Not everyone who agrees with you loves you, and not everyone who corrects you is against you. The real question is: Is the truth being spoken from a place of love, or from a desire to wound?

May we have the discernment to recognize faithful friends and the humility to receive correction when it comes in love.
