For the past weeks, we have been looking into the concept of DEVOTION: what it means to give ourselves wholly to God, fellowship, discipleship, and the things that matter to His Kingdom.

Tonight, we bring this series to a close.

But the goal was never just to learn about devotion.

The goal is to become devoted.

The early Church “continued stedfastly” in the apostles’ doctrine, fellowship, breaking of bread, and prayers. — Acts 2:42

There will always be a season that makes you want to stay in bed, delay the work, and wait for conditions to become comfortable.

But the sluggard refused to plough because of the cold, and the harvest eventually exposed his excuse.

You may not always feel like working.
You may not always feel motivated. But your future harvest will not adjust itself to your excuses.

Beat the cold.
Get up.
Go to work.

There are seasons when nothing seems to be happening above the ground, yet something is happening beneath it.

That is ROOTED.

Before God brings you into a season of visible fruitfulness, He may first take you deeper. Deeper in Him, deeper in His Word, deeper in prayer, deeper in character.
