Our girls are back in school and thriving.

During our recent school visit, we had the opportunity to interact with them and distribute their back-to-school packs.

We are proud to share that 5 out of 6 of our SS3 beneficiaries have been appointed as school prefects, including the Senior Prefect, Assistant Senior Prefect, and prefects for Sanitation, Library, and Games.

Their growth, confidence, and leadership remind us why we do what we do, empowering girls to dream, lead, and achieve.

Today, we celebrate every girl her strength, her voice, her dreams, and her power to lead change even in the toughest times.

At BrenCare Foundation, we believe that when a girl is empowered with knowledge, skills, and opportunities, she becomes unstoppable shaping her community and redefining the future.

This year, under the theme “The Girl I Am, The Change I Lead: Girls on the Frontlines of Crisis,” we stand with girls who continue to rise above challenges, leading, innovating, and inspiring hope.

Let’s create a world where every girl is seen, heard, and supported to thrive no matter where she is.

Join us as we continue to empower girls through information, education, mentorship, and menstrual health advocacy because when girls rise, we all rise!

Day 1 was about foundations, then Day 2 was about action.

We began the morning with a quick recap of Day 1, where participants reflected on the lessons and inspiration gained — from daring to dream big, to understanding what data analysis truly means. It was clear: the fire for learning was burning even brighter.

The momentum continued as Mr. Dominic Bassey (CEO, Beez Academy) guided participants through a hands-on workshop on Data Cleaning & Visualization in Excel. From raw, messy data to clear, meaningful insights participants experienced the magic of turning numbers into stories.
After the break, things got even more exciting with a Mini Project: Building a Simple Dashboard in Excel. Each participant got a chance to put their new skills to the test, creating visuals that brought data to life.

And then came an exclusive moment — a powerful speech by Mr. Godsent Ndoma (CEO, Zion Tech Hub). His words reminded us that tech is not just about skills, but about resilience, vision, and the courage to keep building.

Day 2 was a transformation: from learners to doers, from inspiration to creation. Today, we take it even further as we step into the world of SQL.

From the moment participants arrived, the room was alive with curiosity, energy, and anticipation. After warm introductions from the organizers and sponsors, the vision of became clear: empowerment, inclusion, and resilience through tech.

The day unfolded beautifully: Martha Imoh inspired participants dare to dream big and utilize the social media space to share their learning journey during a live webinar.
Olumba Mba (COO, Zion Tech) in an interactive session broke down What Data Analytics is, its career opportunities, and the tenets of statistics and methods.
Dominic Bassey (CEO, Beez Academy) brought the room to life with a hands-on session on Excel Basics for Data Analysis and the session wrapped up with a Kahoot game designed to test participants’ knowledge and reinforce the day’s learning.

Laptops were open, ideas were flowing, and participants took their first steps into the world of Microsoft excel.

Day 1 was all about laying the foundation and today (Day 2), we build on it. The journey continues…

Dear young girl, your voice matters.

For too long, society has told girls to shrink, to stay quiet, to fit into the tiny boxes of “good behavior” and “acceptable standards.” But your worth is not defined by how small you can make yourself to please the world. Your voice was given to you for a reason, and it deserves to be heard.

At Brencare, we believe every girl should grow up knowing that she has the right to speak, to dream, and to say No when something does not feel right. Your boundaries are valid, your choices matter, and your body is yours, not a canvas for others’ expectations.

So, do not let the weight of societal norms silence your truth. Stand tall, speak boldly, and know that in your courage, you are paving the way for others to rise too. We are here to walk this journey with you, reminding you every step of the way that your voice is power.

Share this with a sister or friend who needs to read it.

One day, we wish every girl would know this simple truth: you have the power to say No.

No matter what they promised.
No matter what you said before.
No matter who they are.

At Brencare, we carry the burden, and the privilege, of teaching children the truth about their bodies, their rights, and the dangers of unprotected s*x.

Because saying No is not just about rejecting unwanted advances; it’s about protecting your health, your future, and your life.

Every child deserves the knowledge, courage, and confidence to choose safety. And we’re here to make sure they have it.

💛 Follow us. Share this. Let’s raise a generation that knows their worth — and their power.

Behind every workshop, outreach, and safe circle…
There’s a team unpacking pads. Printing booklets. Setting up banners. And sometimes, eating puff-puff at 9am because the day won’t wait.

We don’t just talk about youth empowerment.
We build it. Print it. Pack it. Show up for it.

In school halls, on plastic chairs, under canopies, even on the streets, You’ll find us.

Some of us are volunteers. Some of us are program leads. All of us? Are here because we care deeply.

This is the work no one claps for, but it’s the work that makes everything possible.

This is BrenCare. Impact in motion. Intention in action. 💜

Support the work. Share the mission. Partner with us to reach more young people, one safe space at a time.

We asked some of our girls - “what do you wish someone had told you earlier?” And these are some of their responses.

So many of us grew up confused, ashamed, and misinformed, whispering our questions and hiding our pain.

We wish we had someone tell us:
- That pain that knocks you out isn’t “just part of being a girl”.
- That consent is your right, always.
- That discharge is normal.
And that your worth goes beyond your body and that your emotions aren’t too much.

No one told us. But we’re telling them.

is here so no child grows up in the dark about their body, health, or choices.

We’re rewriting the rules; loud, safe and shame-free.

Follow to help raise a generation that knows better.
