With hearts full of gratitude and deep appreciation, we sincerely thank Her Excellency, Bishop Dr. Rev. Mrs. Eyoanwan Edet Otu, the First Lady of Cross River State, for her extraordinary kindness and motherly support to Satwo Foundation Academy, Calabar.

Your generous donation of school uniforms, books, bags, sandals, scholastic materials and many other essential items has restored hope, dignity and confidence to vulnerable children affected by intertribal conflicts, Fulani herdsmen attacks, displacement and extreme poverty. Many of these children, including IDPs, FDPs and other disadvantaged Nigerian children, lacked even the most basic educational materials. Through your compassion, they can now return to learning with smiles, pride and renewed dreams for a brighter future.

We are equally grateful for your nutritional support and school feeding initiative for the children. For many of these young ones, this meal support is more than food; it is strength, comfort and a reason to remain in school. Most of their parents are struggling with severe poverty and cannot afford quality education or proper feeding for their children. Your intervention has become a lifeline, proving that true leadership is rooted in compassion, humanity and service to the vulnerable.

According to the CEO of Satwo Foundation, Azie Talisesius, the less privileged remain the top priority of this initiative. He believes that more than 50% of vulnerable children are highly intelligent, gifted and full of potential, but sadly lack opportunities and people willing to hold their hands through life. Having personally understood the pain and realities of poverty, he remains committed to filling that vacuum and ensuring that underprivileged African children are given equal opportunities to thrive just like their counterparts in the Western world.

With over eight years of firsthand humanitarian experience working with displaced children, especially refugees, and over two years serving stagnant and underserved communities, Satwo Foundation is determined to establish global standards in education for the less privileged, such as Leadership, Character Education, ICT and Linguistics.......such as Leadership, Character Education, ICT and Linguistics from the foundational level, raising a generation of confident, disciplined, innovative and globally competitive African children.

Your Excellency, your kindness will forever remain written in the hearts of these children and their families. May God continue to strengthen, uplift and reward you abundantly for being a true mother to the vulnerable and a shining light to humanity.

At Satwo Foundation, we believe that every child deserves more than survival — every child deserves dignity, love, protection, and access to quality education regardless of their background, status, or condition.

Beyond providing Early Childhood Nursery and Primary Education to refugees and host communities, we understand the painful realities of vulnerability, displacement, poverty, and exclusion. We understand what it means for a child to go to bed uncertain about tomorrow. We understand the struggles of parents who desperately desire a better future for their children but lack the means. We understand the silent tears of caregivers and teachers who sacrifice daily to keep hope alive in the hearts of vulnerable children.

These experiences are not just stories to us — they are realities we have witnessed closely.

Today, our hearts are filled with renewed hope as we expand our mission.....amidst accruing global challenges. Our newest center in Calabar serve mostly vulnerable Nigerians including internally displaced persons (FDPs and non-FDPs), orphans, children living with disabilities, and children from extremely poor and struggling families.

This vision is driven by the passion and humanitarian commitment of the CEO of Satwo Foundation, Azie Talisesius, whose unwavering belief is that education must never be a privilege reserved for a few, but a right accessible to all without barriers.

History has shown us repeatedly that many of the greatest leaders Africa and the world celebrate today emerged from painful, humble, and difficult beginnings. Behind many success stories are childhoods marked by hunger, rejection, poverty, displacement, and suffering.

Sadly, millions of vulnerable children today may never realize their dreams simply because nobody paid attention to them early enough.

As rightly expressed by Azie, “Over 50% of children from vulnerable backgrounds fail to realize their dreams in life, not because they lack potential, but because they lack opportunities.support, and someone who believes in them.

We cannot change the whole world overnight, but together, we can change the world of one child at a time.

Every child reached is a future rescued.Every classroom opened is hope restored.Every act of kindness is a seed planted for a better society.

A SOLEMN EASTER MESSAGE FROM THE CEO, SATWO FOUNDATION

Beloved Christians across the world,
Esteemed volunteers, teachers, caregivers, supporters, funders, and leaders of hope—

This sacred season of Easter calls us into deep reflection… into stillness… into truth.
We remember the profound journey of Christ—
From betrayal… to suffering…
From the weight of the cross… to the silence of the tomb…
And then—glory beyond comprehension—the triumphant resurrection.

THE EMPTY TOMB IS NOT JUST A STORY… IT IS A PROMISE.

A promise that no darkness is permanent.
A promise that no pain is without purpose.
A promise that no grave can hold what God has destined to rise.

In our own lives, we encounter storms—
Battles we never prepared for…
Attacks that shake our faith…
Moments when the weight of responsibility feels unbearable, especially in leadership and service.

As human beings, we are frail.
We are imperfect.
We stumble… we fall… we question.
Yet, even in our brokenness, his grace finds us.

EASTER REMINDS US: WE MAY BE WOUNDED, BUT WE ARE NOT DEFEATED.

To every humanitarian striving to make the world a better place—
To every volunteer who serves without recognition—
To every teacher shaping lives, every caregiver giving comfort,
Every supporter and funder standing behind the mission—

God sees!!!!!

We honor you and walk this path together.
The road of compassion is not easy.
It is filled with sacrifice, misunderstanding, and unseen battles.

But just as Christ endured the cross for a greater purpose—
So too must we remain steadfast in our calling.

LET THIS BE OUR ASSURANCE:

If Christ rose from the grave…
Then we can rise above our trials.

If the stone was rolled away…
Then every barrier before us shall be moved.

If death could not hold Him…
Then nothing can hold back our destinies.

🤍 HOLD ON TO FAITH.
🤍 FORGIVE, EVEN WHEN IT IS HARD.
🤍 STAY RESILIENT, EVEN WHEN WE ARE TIRED.
🤍 NEVER ABANDON YOUR DREAMS AND VISIONS.
Because resurrection is not only an event—
It is a daily reality for those who believe.

AS CHRIST AROSE, SO SHALL WE ARISE.

Out of pain… into purpose.
Out of struggle… into strength.
Out of darkness… into light.

In many emergency, displaced, and stagnant communities, the absence of school meals silently deepens the crisis facing vulnerable children. Hunger robs learners of concentration, weakens their health, increases absenteeism, and gradually pushes many out of the classroom.

When a child goes to school on an empty stomach, learning becomes a struggle and hope slowly fades. The consequences are far-reaching—rising illiteracy, deepening poverty, and a generation whose dreams are threatened before they even begin.

Yet, the simple act of providing a daily school meal can transform everything. A plate of food restores strength, improves concentration, increases school attendance, and renews a child’s dignity and confidence.

School meals become more than nourishment—they become a bridge to education, stability, and a brighter future. For children living in fragile environments such as emergency and FDP communities, this support is not a luxury; it is a lifeline.

Through the unwavering commitment of Satwo Foundation, we are witnessing the power of compassion in action. Despite enormous challenges, our CEO, Mr. Azie Talisesius, has continued to carry the burden almost single-handedly to ensure that vulnerable learners receive meals that keep them in school and give them the strength to learn. His tireless dedication reflects a profound love—not only for vulnerable children, but for every child across Nigeria who deserves the opportunity to grow, learn, and thrive with dignity.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to Save the Children International (SCI), our selfless volunteers, dedicated teachers, and caring nannies whose commitment, patience, and compassion make this mission possible every single day. Your service strengthens hope in communities where it is needed the most.

This responsibility cannot rest on one foundation alone. We respectfully call on governments, humanitarian organizations, NGOs, corporate bodies, and all people of goodwill to rise to this urgent need.

At Satwo Foundation, we believe that education is not a privilege reserved for a few—it is a fundamental right that must reach every child, especially the most vulnerable. 🌍📚
Across communities affected by displacement and poverty, countless children, refugees, and forcibly displaced persons are denied the opportunity to learn, grow, and dream. Through our commitment to free Early Childhood, Nursery, and Primary Education, we are creating safe learning spaces where young minds can discover their potential and build a foundation for a better future.
But our vision goes beyond the classroom. Satwo Foundation is dedicated to supporting continuous learning pathways—from basic education to tertiary opportunities and vocational skills development—ensuring that young people are equipped not only to survive, but to thrive and become agents of change in their communities.
By investing in education, leadership development, and lifelong learning opportunities, we are restoring hope, dignity, and opportunity to those who need it most.
Together, we can transform lives, strengthen communities, and empower a generation that will rise beyond displacement and adversity.
Join Satwo Foundation in empowering children through education.
Because when we educate a child, we empower a future. ✨
