Women Leadership Training – Review
We are proud to reflect on the successful completion of our Women Leadership Training series, which featured four impactful sessions focused on leadership, economic empowerment, and sustainable development.
Throughout the trainings, participants gained valuable knowledge in areas such as Women in Leadership, Business, Saving and Financial Management, Marketing Strategies for Agricultural Products, and Climate Smart Agriculture with Adaptation Strategies.
Each session was highly interactive, incorporating group discussions, breakout sessions, and one-on-one engagements that allowed participants to share experiences, learn practically, and build confidence.
The trainings have strengthened women’s capacity to actively participate in community decision-making, form supportive groups, improve their public speaking skills, and take on leadership roles within their communities.
We are excited about the growth seen so far and remain committed to empowering more women with the knowledge and tools needed to drive positive change and sustainable development.

These Trainings were anchor by
* SA To the Wife of the Government on Gender Mainstream Dr Mrs Inyang Asibong and Her Team
* The CASWI team
* Commissioner For Commerce and Her Team

Another session of our Women Leadership Training was successfully held, with the Director of Climate Change teaching on Climate Smart Agriculture and Adaptation Strategies for Community-Based Climate Risk Assessment.
The women were taught simple and practical ways to improve their farming, such as proper soil care, better water use, and planting different types of crops to reduce losses. They also learned how to understand climate changes in their environment and how to take steps to protect their farms and livelihoods.
The session was very interactive, as participants shared their experiences, asked questions, and discussed the challenges they face in their communities. This helped them learn from one another and find solutions that can work in their local areas.
We are committed to helping women gain the knowledge and confidence they need to improve their livelihoods and support sustainable development in their communities.

This morning, Care For Social Welfare International carried out a sensitization program on Gender-Based Violence (GBV) in a secondary school, educating students on the dangers, warning signs, and long-term effects of GBV.
The session focused on:
• Understanding what GBV is
• Speaking up against abuse
• Promoting respect and equality
• Encouraging students to report and seek help
We believe that education is a powerful tool in preventing violence. By reaching young minds early, we are building a generation that understands their rights, respects boundaries, and stands firmly against all forms of abuse.
Together, we can create safer schools and stronger communities.
