He didn’t have to.
But He did.
No obligation. No reward. No applause.
Just pure, selfless love stretched out on a cross for people who didn’t even ask.
That is what Resurrection Sunday means to us at Debachanya Girl Child Empowerment Initiative.
It means showing up for someone who cannot show up for themselves.
It means paying a debt you didn’t create.
It means choosing a girl child who the world has overlooked and saying you matter.
🕊️ He rose so we could rise.
And some of us rise by lifting others.
This Easter, we are calling on YOU.
Not for money. Not for fame.
Just your time. Your hands. Your heart.
Volunteer with us. Show up for a girl who needs to know she is seen.
Because the greatest thing the resurrection teaches us is this,
Somebody gave everything for you. Now give something for someone else.
Happy Resurrection Sunday 🕊️🔥

More Moments from Our Girl Empowerment Sessions! 📚✨

Educating girls is not just about lessons—it's about unlocking their power and potential.
We believe that knowledge is key and education is power—and every girl deserves access to both.

These moments remind us why we do what we do.
An empowered girl today becomes a strong, confident woman tomorrow. 💪🏽

Let’s keep spreading knowledge, building confidence, and shaping brighter futures. 🌍💛

Spreading Smiles on Children’s Day! 🎉🧒🏽👶🏿

In collaboration with CJ and Friends, we visited the hospital to mark Children’s Day in a meaningful way. We gave out cash prizes, diapers, wipes, and other essentials to children and their caregivers.

The joy and excitement on their faces were priceless. It was a reminder that a little love and kindness can go a long way in brightening someone’s day.

A big thank you to CJ and Friends. Humanity is truly about showing up for one another. 💛

Something beautiful happened today…

While we were at the school speaking to students about menstrual hygiene, a few girls from the community who weren’t students noticed the activity and came closer to see what was going on.

🌺 I saw the curiosity in their eyes — they stood by, quietly listening with interest.
So, I invited them in.

🗣 I spoke to them gently, explaining what menstruation is, how to care for themselves, and reminded them that periods are natural and nothing to be ashamed of.
They lit up with excitement and asked thoughtful questions.
One of them said, "Nobody has ever told us this before."

That moment touched me deeply.

🩸 Menstrual education shouldn't end at school gates. Every girl — student or not — deserves the knowledge and confidence to take care of her body and walk tall.

💌 At Debachanya Girl Child Empowerment, we don’t just educate — we include, uplift, and love.

📍 School Outreach | Menstrual Hygiene Day 2025

🩸 Today, we marked Menstrual Hygiene Day by reaching out to a group of amazing young girls between the ages of 12–18.
With support from our sponsors , we visited a secondary school to educate, empower, and uplift these brilliant young minds.

✨ What we taught them:
✔ What menstruation really is
✔ How to maintain personal hygiene during their period
✔ The importance of clean sanitary products
✔ How to manage cramps and stay confident
✔ That their period is NOT a limitation!

🗣 I reminded them:
"You are not dirty. You are not weak.
You are powerful. Your period is a sign that you are wonderfully made."

🎁 Every girl received sanitary pads and had an opportunity to ask questions and share their thoughts.

At Debachanya Girl Child Empowerment, we believe that education = dignity, and no girl should ever be ashamed of her body.

🛑 Period shame stops here.
🌺 Period power starts now.

🌸 Happy Menstrual Hygiene Day! 🌸

Today, we celebrate strength, dignity, and awareness.
At Debachanya Girl Child Empowerment Initiative, we continue to break the silence, end the stigma, and educate young girls on menstrual hygiene and body confidence. 💪🏾🩸

Access to pads and accurate menstrual education is a right, not a privilege.
Let’s keep empowering our girls — one pad, one talk, and one smile at a time.

Together, we can build a world where every girl feels safe, informed, and supported.
