On 3rd August 2026, the Executive Director of Glorious Elisha's Foundation (GEF), Ibilola Yejide Coker Atureta with team members joined CS-SUNN Bauchi Chapter and other civil society organizations in an awareness walk to commemorate World Breastfeeding Week 2026.

Under the theme, "Breastfeeding for a Sustainable Start in Life: Strengthen What Works," we reaffirm our commitment to promoting maternal and child health and advocating for better nutrition for every child.

Together, through partnership and awareness, we can give every child the healthiest start in life.

💚 Every mother supported. Every baby nourished. Every future strengthened.

On 3rd August 2026, the Executive Director of Glorious Elisha's Foundation (GEF), Ibilola Yejide Coker Atureta, joined fellow civil society organizations across Bauchi State and the Civil Society – Scaling Up Nutrition in Nigeria (CS-SUNN), Bauchi State Chapter to participate in an awareness walk marking World Breastfeeding Week (WBW) 2026.

Today 6th August 2026, we continue the conversation at a Multi-Stakeholder Roundtable Discussion.

This year's theme, "Breastfeeding for a Sustainable Start in Life: Strengthen What Works," reminds us that breastfeeding is one of the most effective investments in the health, nutrition, and future of children, while also contributing to stronger families and more resilient communities.

At GEF, we remain committed to promoting maternal, newborn, and child health through advocacy, awareness, and partnerships that empower families with the knowledge and support they need to thrive.

On Tuesday, 28th July 2026, Glorious Elisha's Foundation (GEF) successfully concluded the Bully Management and Peace Building Training at the prestigious Divine International Academy, Bauchi.

The programme equipped 30 students with practical knowledge and skills to prevent bullying, promote peaceful conflict resolution, and foster a culture of respect and inclusion within their school. We are grateful to the school management for their collaboration and to Attah Sisters Helping Hand Foundation (ASHH Foundation) for their generous support in making this impactful intervention possible.

📚 Building Safer Schools, One Student at a Time! ✨

Today, 27th July 2026, Glorious Elisha's Foundation (GEF) successfully conducted another impactful session on Bully Management and Peace Building, empowering 30 students of the prestigious Divine International Academy, Bauchi, Bauchi State, Nigeria with practical skills to prevent bullying, resolve conflicts peacefully, and foster a culture of respect and inclusion.

As a key outcome of the session, we proudly established the school's Anti-Bullying and Peace Club—a student-led initiative that will champion kindness, promote peaceful conflict resolution, and sustain anti-bullying efforts within the school community.

This impactful intervention was made possible through a sub-grant from Attah Sisters Helping Hand Foundation (ASHH Foundation). We are deeply grateful for their partnership and support, which continues to strengthen our mission of creating safer, more inclusive learning environments for children and young people.

We are deeply grateful for the successful completion of our Bully Management and Peace Building Training, which concluded Friday, 24 July 2026, where 30 selected students from the prestigious Rochas Foundation College, Bauchi were equipped with practical knowledge and skills to prevent bullying, promote peaceful coexistence, and become Peace ambassadors of positive change within their school and community. A Vibrant Peace Club was also inaugurated.

This impactful initiative was made possible through the generous sub-grant support of Attah Sisters Helping Hand Foundation (ASHHF). Your investment in young people is helping to create safer, more inclusive learning environments where every child can thrive with dignity and confidence.
