*AN EXCELLENT LIFE*

_That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God_ *(Colossians 1:10)*

There’s so much to learn from this prayer of the Spirit through the Apostle Paul. It gives us an idea of a true and balanced Christian life—an excellent life. It says that you might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God.

That's extraordinary; it reveals God’s will for you as a Christian. He wants your daily life to be worthy of Him—walking in His righteousness and pleasing Him in all things. Jesus always pleased the Father; He said in John 8:29, *“And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.”*

It should be your life’s work to always and only do those things that please the Father. Along with this, he says, *“being fruitful in every good work.”* Think about the kind of life where you’re fruitful in every good work. That’s what we have in Christ Jesus—an excellent life. It reminds of the words of the Psalmist in Psalm 1:3: *“...he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”*

That’s not all; as you’re walking worthy of the Lord, pleasing Him in all things and fruitful in every good work, He also wants you to increase in the knowledge of God. There’re people who, even though are doing well in their work, aren't increasing in the knowledge of God. No! He wants your life to be balanced.

Don’t let it be that your job or business distracted you from giving time to prayer, studying the Scriptures, and growing in the things of God. A true and balanced Christian life is walking in righteousness, pleasing the Lord in all things, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God. Hallelujah!

*PRAYER*
_Dear Father, thank you for giving me an excellent and balanced life. By your Spirit, I live and conduct myself in a manner worthy of you, fully pleasing you in all things, bearing fruits of righteousness and steadily growing and increasing in and by the knowledge of your Word, in Jesus’ Name. Amen._

*FURTHER STUDY:*
*Hebrews 13:20-21* Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, *21* Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

*Psalm 1:1-3* Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. *2* But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. *3* And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

*A LIFE OF THANKSGIVING*

_Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light_ *(Colossians 1:12)*

Did you know that living a life of thanksgiving is one of the ways to keep yourself in perfect health? There’re those who believe that nobody can be perfectly healthy, and they’re wrong; perfect health is the right of every Christian. That’s what the Bible teaches.

Notice what we read in our opening verse: *“Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light.”* He wants your life to be a life of thanksgiving always, because the Father has qualified you to be a partaker of the inheritance of the saints in the Kingdom of light.

Part of that inheritance is the divine life which comes with divine health. Divine health has been granted you in Christ Jesus and He wants you to maintain it through a life of thanksgiving. So, every day and every month of this year, live the life of thanksgiving; constantly give thanks for all things. It’ll keep you in health always. Hallelujah!

*CONFESSION*
_I live a life of thanksgiving, manifesting the virtues and perfections of Christ’s righteousness, walking in the glory and dominion of the Spirit. I walk in health and prosperity, with victory over Satan, the world and its systems, in Jesus’ Name. Amen._

*FURTHER STUDY:*
*1 Thessalonians 5:18* In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

*Romans 8:10-11* And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. *11* But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

*3 John 1:2* Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES, DAILY DEVOTIONAL, WEDNESDAY, 31ST JANUARY 2024. Pastor Chris

TOPIC ✨ WE REIGN WITH WORDS ✨

The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion; RULE THOU IN THE MIDST OF THINE ENEMIES... (Psalm 110:1-2).

The Hebrew word translated “rule” in the opening scripture is “Radah,” which is essentially synonymous with “reign.” To rule means to exercise dominion and kingly authority. What we read in our opening verses is about Jesus in heaven at the time in which He is the High Priest.

That portion unveils some amazing descriptions of His authority. For example, the phrase “the rod of thy strength” essentially means the sceptre of His power. It’s akin to what we have in Psalm 45:6 (NIV): “Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.”

Hebrews 1:8 also alludes to the same truth concerning Jesus. It says, “But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.” This unfolds while He is seated on the throne. How does this apply to us, the new creation in Christ? Revelation 5:10 reveals it. It says, “And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.”

How do kings reign? Kings reign with words. The creation story in Genesis chapter one confirms this. God spoke creation into existence. He accomplished everything through the spoken Word. He simply spoke, and things came into existence.

When Jesus walked the earth, He spoke words. He transformed lives and performed miracles with words. When He spoke to corpses, they came back to life. His words transmitted and imparted life. We’re just like Him. Our words do the same, because as He is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17).

Reign with words. Rule in the midst of your enemies by exercising your divine authority through words.

CONFESSION
I take my place of dominion and I reign in the Name of Jesus over circumstances through words. The words that I speak are potent, laden with the Spirit’s power to produce fruits. I speak peace, prosperity, wellness and wholeness into the nations of the world and I declare that salvation spreads quickly into places where the light of the Gospel has been dim, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY:
Matthew 12:37
For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

Mark 11:23
For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Revelation 1:4-6
John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace [be] unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne; 5 And from Jesus Christ, [who is] the faithful witness, [and] the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, 6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him [be] glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Ecclesiastes 8:4
Where the word of a king [is, there is] power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou?

𝐆𝐎𝐃 𝐆𝐎𝐓 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐆𝐈𝐅𝐓, 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐋𝐔𝐂𝐊!

🔴Life is spiritual; there’s more to this world than what you see with your physical eyes.

🔴The spiritual realm determines what happens in the physical. You need to know this so you can determine what happens to you, and not allow things to happen to you by chance or accident.

🔴As a Christian, your life isn’t a set of chance occurrences.

🔴Don’t attribute the things that happen in your life to luck.

🔴God brings to you divine opportunities which you can get a hold of by your faith.

🔴When you get something beautiful from the Lord, don’t say,

“I guess I was just lucky. If I hadn’t been here today, I wouldn’t have got the gift.”

— No, God got you that gift, not luck!

🔴The Bible says,

“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows” (James 1:17 NIV).

🔴So don’t call it a coincidence or lucky event!

🔴You’re blessed and not lucky!

🔴Declare this:

“I’m led by God’s Spirit, because I’m His child, and my steps are ordered every time” (Psalm 37:23).

🔴This is how to operate in the spirit-realm-by talking the Word in faith!

🔴Recognize God is with you, claim God’s Word for yourself, and declare that everything works together for your good!

📖 Ephesians 1:3-4

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

📖 Ephesians 2:10

“For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].”

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES, DAILY DEVOTIONAL ~ PASTOR CHRIS.

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 3RD 2023.

THINK AND TALK LIKE JESUS.

For as the Father hath life in himself;so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself (John 5:26).

Nobody ever talked like Jesus. He spoke the most profound and sublime words ever, with such confidence and audacity that beats the natural mind.Think about what we just read! In John 6: 38 He said: “For I came down from heaven…." He was unapologetic about His identity and origin, and that’s how we ought to be.

1 John 4:17 says, “Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgement: because as he is,so are we in this world.” This is how you must think, talk, and live. Be conscious of your divine heritage and identity. 1 John 4:4 says, “Ye are of God,little children….” That means you hail from God.

So, like the Lord Jesus, boldly affirm who you are. In John 8: 12,He said , “…I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” Confidently declare the same truth about yourself because He also said in Matthew 5:14 AMPC, “You are the light of the world….” Be conscious of who you are in Christ; be bold to call yourself what God has called you.

Let your consciousness of your divinity control everything about your life. You can live as successfully as Jesus did by following His example and the principles by which He lived.Become conscious of the God-life in you and boldly speaking accordingly.

CONFESSION.
I’m conscious of the life of God in me; therefore,no sickness, disease or infirmity can thrive in my body. The life of Christ is evidently manifested in me,from glory to glory, in Name of the Lord Jesus.Amen.
