A SUCCESSFUL FREE CERVICAL CANCER SCREENING EXERCISE IN DARAZO LGA

Alheri YS Foundation successfully carried out a free cervical cancer screening exercise for women at AIY U5 PHC, Darazo LGA, Bauchi State.

The activity began with a health talk to educate women on cervical cancer prevention, the importance of regular screening, and early detection.

The screening was supported by the Bauchi State Government as part of efforts to promote women’s health and improve access to preventive healthcare services.

Early detection saves lives. Let’s encourage more women to get screened.

Alheri-Ys Foundation participated in the Bauchi Women Agenda Meeting, held at the BASNEC office in Bauchi.

The meeting brought together Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), members, to review and adapt the Network Document and conduct the election of the network’s leadership.

The engagement provided a platform for meaningful dialogue, collaboration, and collective action towards strengthening women’s participation and leadership in Bauchi State.

Alheri-Ys Foundation attended the We Care Leadership Conference 2026, held on 20th August 2026 at the International Conference Centre, Bauchi.

The conference, themed “Driving Youth Innovation and Alternative Solutions: Pathway to Nation Building,” brought together young leaders, policymakers, development practitioners, entrepreneurs, and civil society actors to discuss leadership, youth empowerment, innovation, and sustainable development.

As a partner implementing the ASPIRE Project, Alheri-Ys Foundation had a monitoring and support visit from Plan International Nigeria on 11 August 2026.

The visit provided an opportunity to review project progress, discuss challenges, and identify areas for further support and improvement.
