CALL FOR PARTNERSHIP / EXPRESSION OF INTEREST ALHERI YS FOUNDATION – BAUCHI STATE OCTOBER 2026 BREAST CANCER AWARENESS WALK & MEDICAL OUTREACH

Alheri-Ys Foundation hereby invites organizations, corporate bodies, development partners, institutions, brands, and well-meaning individuals to express interest in partnering with us for the 5th Edition of the Breast Cancer Awareness Walk & Medical Outreach 2026, scheduled to hold in Bauchi State.

This annual initiative is committed to raising awareness on breast cancer, promoting early detection, and improving access to community-based medical outreach and health education. Over the years, the programme has continued to reach women and families with life-saving information, screening opportunities, and support services that encourage early action and improved health outcomes.

As we prepare for the October 2026 edition, we seek strategic partnerships and support from stakeholders who share our vision of healthier communities and a stronger response to preventable diseases through awareness and outreach.

We welcome collaboration in areas including sponsorship, technical support, medical services, logistics, media coverage, and other forms of partnership that will strengthen the impact of this initiative.

Cervical cancer is preventable, and early detection saves lives. Many myths still stop women from going for screening, but the truth is that Pap smears are quick, safe, and important for women’s health.

Day 2 of the Capacity-Building Workshop for Social Media Handlers focused on strengthening digital health communication to improved HPV vaccination awareness and uptake in Bauchi State. organized by the Bauchi State Primary Health Care Development Board and supported by Upswell International USA and Capulet

During the session, Alheri-Ys Foundation participated as an organization actively working on HPV awareness and cervical cancer screening, with a strong focus on early detection and prevention. The workshop provided an opportunity to engage with social media handlers on the importance of accurate health communication, combating misinformation, and promoting community awareness on HPV vaccination and cervical cancer prevention.

The interactive discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions further strengthened collaboration toward improving public health awareness and encouraging increased vaccine acceptance within communities.

Alheri-Ys Foundation participated in the general close-out sessions organized by the Development Exchange Center (DEC) with support from Bread for the World, bringing together beneficiaries across the programme cycle to present achievements, experiences, and lessons learned.

Alheri YS Foundation successfully implemented its SSPF grant project from October 2025 to March 2026, during which planned activities and key deliverables were fully achieved. The project contributed significantly to strengthening our organizational capacity, enhancing community engagement, and improving our approach to sustainable and impact-driven programming.

We sincerely appreciate the Development Exchange Centre (DEC) and Bread for the World for the opportunity, trust, technical guidance, and continuous support throughout the project period. The experience and knowledge gained through this partnership have greatly contributed to the growth and development of Alheri YS Foundation.

Alheri YS Foundation remains committed to sustaining the impact achieved and continuing to implement community-focused interventions that promote lasting development outcomes.

As an organization that is actively involved in HPV vaccination advocacy, we were honored to be selected to participate in the Capacity Building Workshop organized by the Bauchi State Primary Health Care Development Board and supported by Upswell International USA and Capulet

We attended Day One of the workshop aimed at strengthening digital health communication to improved HPV vaccination uptake and awareness in Bauchi State. The session provided valuable knowledge on effective social media engagement, health communication strategies, and the importance of promoting accurate information about HPV vaccines within our communities.

We appreciate the opportunity to contribute to this important public health initiative and remain committed to supporting HPV vaccine awareness and advocacy efforts across the Bauchi State.

Today, Alheri-Ys Foundation joined other CSOs, stakeholders, partners, youth and market associations, religious and traditional leaders, lactating mothers, healthcare workers, RI providers, artisan associations, and government ministries at the Citizens’ Townhall Meeting on Primary Healthcare in Bauchi State.

The meeting, organized by the National Primary Health Care Development Agency in collaboration with the Bauchi State Primary Health Care Board, focused on strengthening primary healthcare services through citizen engagement and community ownership, with special attention to maternal and child health and immunization.
