We took to the streets of Bauchi to hear directly from ordinary citizens, not beneficiaries of official programs, but everyday people who see, feel, and appreciate the impact of true leadership.

From young entrepreneurs to community elders to a student, the people of Bauchi joined us in celebrating the Founder and Chairman of Wunti Al-Khair, Dr. Bala Maijama'a Wunti. Their spontaneous words reflect the deep respect, experience, and knowledge he has brought to our communities over the years.

The Wunti Al-Khair Foundation joined students, innovators and young founders at ATBU SESFEST 2026, the Student Entrepreneurship Summit, Exhibition & Trade Fair held at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi.

The Foundation sponsored the summit's ₦1,000,000 Innovation Prize, awarded to the top three teams in the Innovation Pitch Competition.

Eight finalist teams pitched live to a panel of judges, investors and industry mentors. Entries were assessed on innovation and creativity, problem identification, business feasibility, scalability, market potential, social and economic impact, and the ability to communicate the idea clearly.

Our Program Director also delivered a session on "From Ideas to Impact: Building Sustainable Businesses Through Innovation and Ex*****on," focusing on the unglamorous part of the work: pricing properly, keeping records, and serving a first customer well enough that they come back.
