Earlier today, we held a constructive and forward-looking meeting with the WaterAid Nigeria - Bauchi State team to present our “Bleed With Pride” school-based menstrual health education initiative.

During the engagement, we also introduced the Bleed With Pride Handbook — a structured resource designed to support menstrual health education.

The discussion focused on the structured embedment of menstrual health education within existing school structure and the proposed pilot phase overview.

We explored areas of technical alignment, particularly around sustainable WASH integration and strengthening school health structures.

The conversation was thoughtful, practical, and encouraging. It affirmed the importance of coordinated efforts in advancing menstrual health management in Bauchi State.

While this was a stakeholder engagement meeting, it opened meaningful pathways for continued dialogue and potential collaboration.

We remain committed to building strong technical partnerships that improve dignity, access, and informed support for girls and young women both in and out of school.

Today, we successfully held the Bleed With Pride Project Pilot Inception Meeting, and it was truly impactful.

We were honored by the presence of key Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), alongside development partner WaterAid Nigeria, civil society organizations, and education stakeholders.

The Bleed With Pride Handbook was introduced as the guiding learning resource for this pilot phase, and we will be taking this journey one step at a time.

Every objective was achieved, and the level of engagement and commitment in the room was inspiring.

We are grateful to God and to everyone who believes in this vision and is standing with us.
