Scripture tells us the reason Jesus went to the cross was to pay the price for our sins. His resurrection assures us of His, and ultimately our, victory over death. Jesus died so we would not have to experience eternal death. He rose again so that we could experience eternal life.

That is Easter. It's about having come to a point in our lives where we understand that we are sinners in need of a Savior. It's about recognizing that nothing can save us from the penalty of our sins except the blood of Jesus. And coming to that recognition, we must accept the forgiveness of sins Jesus offers and place our lives under His control. That's what it means to be saved.

Happy Easter!

On Good Friday we remember the death of Jesus on our behalf. We call to mind His suffering in our place and express our gratitude to Him for His sacrifice.

This week, we learned, we played, we watched a movie, and we practiced good habits. But something even more special happened. We witnessed something wonderful.

Five of our learners accepted Christ into their lives. This is the greatest news of all!

We ask that you keep them in your prayers, that their faith will grow stronger each day.

Happy Weekend!

Hello Friends, Partners, and Supporters!

In today’s discipleship with our learners, we explored the story of David and Goliath.

We learnt that God gives everyone special gifts and abilities, and how these gifts can be used for good. Some shared that they don’t know their talent yet, and we will help them discover it.

We shared about the times when people look down on us just as David was underestimated. One learner shared that where he is learning a skill, his boss does not give him work because he thinks he cannot do it, even though he knows he can. This taught us that God looks at the heart, not outward appearance like man does.

We encouraged our learners that with faith, courage, and the gifts God has given them, they too can face the “giants” in their lives and overcome them. And also to do everything in the name of the Lord! Keep praying for us. Thank you!

Our learners are resilient, inquisitive, and interesting children who are a joy to work with. Despite experiencing traumatic events from militia attacks on their community, they continue to show strength, resilience and remain eager to learn.

Continue to pray for them, and support. God bless you!

Happy Weekend!

Hello friends, partners, and supporters!

Even as a child, Jesus studied and understood God’s Word. Why is it important for us to do the same?

In today’s discipleship class, we learnt about temptation (when Jesus was in the wilderness.) Just like our first parents, Adam and Eve, Jesus was tempted by the devil. But while Adam and Eve gave in to temptation, Jesus did not. He responded with God’s Word.

We explored important questions together:
Is it a sin to be tempted?
Who tempts us?
How can we overcome temptation?

God gives us spiritual armor to protect us from sin, temptation, doubt and fear.

We thank God for the understanding He is giving our learners. Please join us in praying that they will continue to grow in His ways, stand strong in difficult moments, and truly own their faith.

Hello Friends, Partners, and Supporters,

Today was a milestone for us! During our discipleship time, we launched our very first lesson using the Superbook curriculum, in a proud partnership with 700 Club Nigeria CBN (Christian Broadcasting Network) Nigeria.

Our learners explored the story of Creation and how sin entered the world. We shared a meaningful discussion on how sin is disobeying God’s Word—whether it’s purposely doing something we shouldn't or failing to do what we should.

After watching the “In the Beginning” episode, we broke into smaller groups. This allowed our learners to dive deeper, ask thoughtful questions, and share their hearts. It was a beautiful time of learning in God’s presence.

As we begin this new week, let us all choose to walk in obedience to the Lord.

Have a blessed week!

“Create all the happiness you are able to create: remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you to add something to the pleasure of others, or to diminish something of their pains. And for every grain of enjoyment you sow in the bosom of another, you shall find harvest in your own bosom; while every sorry which you pluck out from the thoughts and feelings of a fellow creature shall be replaced by beautiful peace and joy in the sanctuary of your soul.”
By Jeremy Bentham

We want our learners to have a happy experience while learning. Thank God for seeing us through this learning week. We’re learning. We’re happy.

Happy weekend!

Hello Friends, Partners, and Supporters!

We had a good time learning and colouring about the Love of the Father.

Our focus text was John 3:16, where we reflected on how God demonstrated His great love for us by giving His Son so that we might be saved. Isn’t it amazing?

We also looked at John 13:34
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.”

And Mark 12:30-31
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbour as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”

We reminded our learners that love is not just a feeling, it is a command given to us by God, to obey, and it’s an action. As He has loved us, we are called to love Him and to love one another intentionally and wholeheartedly.

As one of them said “I will not say bad things that will hurt someone.” This is love.

We pray that love will be our language this week and always. And may we never grow tired of loving, but continue to love as the Holy Spirit strengthens and guides us each day.

Happy Sunday!

Hello family! We’ve had another fruitful week!

When we ask our learners what they would like to become in the future, many mention only what they see around their community (hairdresser, tailor, provision store owner, welder, etc.)

These are honest and respectable skills and businesses, but their vision is often limited to what they are exposed to.

However, we are beginning to notice a shift in their thinking, as we have been taking some of them out of their immediate environment, and they were able to interact with new people and see new possibilities. That exposure is motivating them and helping them realize that they can become more than what they see around.

We want to continue to expose them to more possibilities. But we can’t do that without your support and prayers.

Keep an eye on our page as we will be sharing some of their inspiring stories.

Our prayer for our learners is that they grow to become valuable, indispensable, and full of godly character useful to their families and society.

Please keep praying for them, support our mission, and volunteer to be part of this journey.
