FREE TEXTBOOK EXCHANGE PROGRAM
The importance of textbooks in education is too important to be overlooked. It's relevance in advancing the knowledge and further understanding of learners cannot be overemphasized. Frankly speaking, only a fraction of learners in Nigeria have access to these resources which remains idle on shelves or rots away in the archives of those who no longer use them.
This initiative is therefore intended to help redistribute used or new textbooks to primary, secondary and tertiary institution learners who need them most before such books become obsolete or rot away in the archives of those who no longer need them.
HOW IT WORKS
1. We accept book donations from individuals and organizations globally. These text books are thereafter freely loaned out to students to make use of, for a specified period of time, who afterwards, return it in exchange for others.
2. We accept textbooks from students moving from one academic level to a higher one and loan them the equivalent textbooks required for that next level, while those received from them also get loaned out to others who are moving into that level.
3. We also donate textbook to students in rural communities, orphanages, prisons, local libraries and many other places where they are critically needed.
4. We don't just give out text book, we promote a reading culture where learners utilize the text books available to them effectively.
HOW YOU CAN BE OF HELP
1.Identify and collect textbooks that are stored away after use either by you, someone you know or your children, package and send them to any of our offices or drop off points nearest to you. We can also pick them up from your location if convenient.
It is important to note that most primary and secondary text books become outdated or old editions after a couple of years.
2. You can also exchange old or used textbooks in return for those of a higher level than than the ones you are donated.
3. If you do not have old textbooks to donate, you may also make equivalent cash donations for he procurement of new ones or donate brand new textbooks instead.
NOTE
This exchange program is completely free but would require beneficiaries to fill out some forms and go through some basic screening process to be eligible.
