A CLARION CALL FOR UNITY, EQUITY AND TRANSFORMATIVE LEADERSHIP.
The Media Team of Dr. Mike Eigbemekhe has issued a passionate and heartfelt appeal laced with deep pain and righteous indignation as the purchase of nomination forms for the Edo State House of Assembly draws near.
With heavy hearts, the team lamented the disturbing and desperate tactics being deployed by certain forces.
Some individuals, they revealed, have resorted to using private numbers to intimidate, harass, and threaten loyal supporters of Dr. Mike Eigbemekhe.
“This cannot be the kind of politics His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo, envisioned for Esan North East LGA,” the team declared emotionally.
“Why stoop so low with intimidation, bribery, unwholesome gifts, empty promises of appointments, and blackmail, all in a bid to coerce our supporters into abandoning a cause that is undeniably fair, just, and equitable?”They asked with deep concern:
“Will you also threaten the Governor and attempt to forcefully impose your candidate on him?
The fact that some did not vote for His Excellency, yet he sits today as our Executive Governor, is living proof that the hands of God are sovereign in the affairs of men.”
The team passionately questioned: If your candidate is truly the best and Ward 6 is of no consequence, or if Dr. Mike Eigbemekhe is not the most eligible by every reasonable standard
— CAPACITY, LOYALTY, COMPETENCES, and CHARACTER — why are you afraid to wait for the verdict of the Governor and the voice of the masses?
They affirmed strongly that any plot to hijack the leadership of Esan North East APC through manipulation is not by power, nor by might, nor by intimidation, but ultimately rests in the mighty hands of God.
Dr. Eigbemekhe stated with unshakable conviction: “It is on record that no leader ever presented me to His Excellency. Therefore, I owe him my total, undivided 100% allegiance and loyalty.
With his uncommon sense of justice, fairness and inclusivity; his burning desire for an egalitarian society; his commitment to peaceful coexistence; and his deep empathy for the neglected and ordinary people, Senator Monday Okpebholo remains our only and last hope.
It is either we get it right now, or we forever hold our peace in regret.”The team expressed profound sorrow over 27 years of glaring inequity and marginalization in the distribution of elective positions.
They highlighted the undeniable case for Dr. Mike Eigbemekhe, anchored on:
®Unquestionable party loyalty and sacrifice
®Equity, fairness, and natural justice
Being from the only ward where APC and Governor Okpebholo recorded resounding victory
Superior eligibility in qualifications, capacity, integrity, and grassroots acceptance
Yet, in the face of these compelling truths, a leader we ought to run to for justice is instead intimidating our supporters through private numbers.
While attempting to lure our followers, names of some respected Uzea leaders were mistakenly mentioned as having agreed to sacrifice equity, fairness, and our long-awaited development.
If this is true, we plead with tears in our hearts
please retrace your steps before it is too late.
Dr. Eigbemekhe stands as a true and devoted son of the soil — a man of proven capacity, unquestionable loyalty, and an undying passion for the rapid progress and total transformation of Esan North East Constituency II, especially Ward 6 and beyond.
He has pledged with every fibre of his being to align fully with Governor Okpebholo’s visionary leadership and bring life-changing development — infrastructure, youth empowerment, quality education, agricultural support, and inclusive growth — to every corner of the constituency.
The Media Team concluded with unshakable confidence and humility:
“When our Governor and overall leader finally speaks, his voice and sense of judgement will ring loud, clear, and decisive.
We shall accept his decision with utmost humility and total obedience.
Together, we shall deliver effective, impactful, and people-oriented representation that will bring lasting joy, hope, and meaningful development to our land.”
