Causes of homelessness among our children fall into three inter-related categories: family problems, economic problems, and residential instability. Many homeless children leave home after years of physical and sexual abuse, strained relationships,
addiction of a family member, and parental neglect.

Today is international day for the girl child and Era Gate foundation stands for gender equality Gender inequality in Nigeria is influenced by different cultures and beliefs. In most parts of Nigeria, women are considered subordinate to their male counterparts, especially in Northern Nigeria.
It is generally believed that women are best suited as home keepers, while the men go to school.
