Earlier this year, I was honored with an award for Championing Young Women Inclusion in Public Participation and Political Administration, and it reminded me that impact and service will always create visibility with time.

The journey has not been easy. From working within communities, consulting and navigating different spaces, to now actively engaging the political space, I have learned that growth happens quietly before it becomes visible publicly. but if you stay committed to your work, it will eventually speak for itself.

To everyone currently navigating their own path through different works of life, please do not give up on yourself. Whether you are building in business, governance, media, entrepreneurship, development work or leadership, keep showing up even when the process feels slow. Not every season comes with applause, but every season comes with lessons, growth and preparation for greater opportunities ahead.

One day, we will talk about how anyone can transition from a career path like consulting for Non profit and development organizations into the political space and public leadership. The journey is possible.
