Help Me to Succeed Foundation is the initiator of Balance Future Initiative (BFI)
BFI is an organization that speaks up for the "Boy Child." Today, we celebrate the Boy Child.
The International Day for the Boy Child is a moment to pause, reflect, and intentionally recognize the unique journey of boys in our communities. The boy child is often raised with expectations of strength, silence, and responsibility, yet his emotional needs, vulnerabilities, and dreams are frequently overlooked. While conversations around gender equality have grown, the challenges facing boys—limited access to quality education, exposure to violence, pressure to conform to harmful stereotypes, poor mentorship, and neglect of mental health—remain real and urgent.
Every boy deserves a safe environment where he can learn, express himself freely, and grow without fear or discrimination. Empowering the boy child does not compete with empowering the girl child; rather, it complements it. When boys are nurtured to become respectful, emotionally intelligent, and responsible men, society becomes safer, fairer, and more inclusive for everyone.
Today "Balance Future Initiative " (BFI) is calling on parents, caregivers, educators, faith leaders, policymakers, and communities to listen to boys, guide them with positive values, and provide role models that inspire integrity, empathy, and purpose.
Let us invest in the boy child through education, mentorship, protection, and opportunities that help him reach his full potential.
A better future begins when every boy is seen, heard, supported, and valued.
