Uwelu Friends Association

Uwelu Friends Association The Uwelu friends association is non government organization formed for the sole purpose of positively impacting the community.

It was formed in 2021 by a group of friends who once lived in Uwelu and nearby communities. Some of the aims and objectives amongst others include: Assisting school age children with basic learning items, Woman/Youth empowerment, educating the society on the need to be more proactive, public awareness and enlightenment programs.

Today, on 1 January 2026, an orphanage home was supported with food items.
