The issue of unwanted pregnancies abounds in Nigeria with its negative attendant effect.

In the course of the Twitter chat, our focus will be on Northern Nigerian and the acceptance/practice of family planning and barriers that could prevent women from adhering to the principle of family planning.

Family planning along with other interventions such as delayed marriages and access to education, empowers women and girls to have more control over their lives and well-being. It helps them achieve their potential academically, professionally and in their personal lives. The multiplier effect of mothers who adopted family planning is numerous.

So join us on the 2nd of March. The time is 6pm GMT+1
