CAPCADF Medical Outreach

Care For the Physically challenged and Destitute Foundation. Capcadf Medical Outreach Check held on 24/08/2026 in collaboration with Christ the King Parish PHC, with the support of Hon. Franklin Onyeke, the Hon. Councillor representing Odoakpu Ward 1 in Onitsha South LGA.

A total of 130 residents of the ward benefited from the free medical check-ups, which included blood sugar testing, blood pressure (BP) checks, chest X-rays, and tuberculosis (TB) screening.

The beneficiaries were also sensitised by the Executive Director of the Care for the Physically Challenged and Destitute Foundation (CAPCADF), Mrs. Nwafor Gloria Onyinye, on Gender-Based Violence (GBV), Anti-Trafficking in Persons (ATIP), and the importance of regular health checks to prevent avoidable sudden deaths.

CAPCADF MEDICAL OUTREACH

On 24th August 2026, Care For the Physically challenged and Destitute Foundation. Capcadf conducted a medical outreach in Odoakpu Ward 1, Onitsha South LGA, Anambra State.

The outreach was an opportunity to provide healthcare services and support to members of the community, while promoting health awareness and wellbeing.

In commemoration of the International Day of the African Child 2026, Mrs. Gloria Nwafor, the Executive Director of Care for the Physically Challenged and Destitute Foundation (CAPCADF), joined the WorldWide Organisation for Women WowAfrica阿非卡 to celebrate and inspire students in Anambra State.

The event was part of WOW Africa Inc.'s Annual Leadership Training, held on 28th August 2026 at ASUEGBU, Awka, Anambra State, with the theme:

“Lead the Shift: Youth Driving Change in a Disrupted World.”

It was a beautiful opportunity to remind our young people that they have a voice, they have dreams, and they have the power to make a difference in the world.

Our children are not just the leaders of tomorrow; with the right guidance and opportunities, they can begin to create positive change today.

Together, let us continue to encourage, support and empower them to become the best version of themselves.
