HONOURING EXCELLENCE

Graduation should not be the end of the journey. Sometimes, it is where another journey begins.

As part of the induction of the pioneer members of the IGAHAF Global Network of Alumni, our Founder and Chairman, High Chief Ichie Ozo Ignatius Onyeka Aguowo, presented Awards and gave ₦250,000 to each of the graduates as a personal support towards their next chapter.

But beyond the financial gift was a bigger message.

The Chairman reaffirmed his commitment to supporting them as they build their lives—whether through business, career opportunities or other areas where support may be needed to help them establish themselves.

This is the kind of transition we envision at IGAHAF:

From receiving support to becoming self-reliant.
From being beneficiaries to becoming contributors.
From being helped to helping others.

And as they grow, our hope is that these graduates will also give back through the Foundation and beyond, helping to create opportunities for the next generation.

Because the goal is not simply to change one life.

It is to create a cycle of impact that continues from one generation to another.

Congratulations to our pioneer alumni.
Your journey continues. 💙

A CHILD’S ACADEMIC JOURNEY DOESN’T HAPPEN AT SCHOOL ALONE.

Behind every report card is a child who needs more than lessons and assignments.

They need encouragement.
They need structure.
They need someone who listens.
They need to know that making a mistake doesn't mean they have failed.

Parents play a powerful role in shaping how children approach learning—not just by asking about their grades, but by creating an environment where curiosity, discipline and confidence can grow.

Sometimes, it is as simple as sitting beside them while they study.

Sometimes, it is asking, “What did you learn today? instead of only asking, “What did you score?”

And sometimes, it is reminding them:

“It's okay to get it wrong. Let's try again.” ❤️

Academic excellence is built through partnership—between the child, the school, the home and the wider community.

At IGAHAF, we believe that investing in education means investing not only in the classroom, but also in the people and environments that help children thrive.

Parents, your involvement matters.

WHAT DOES IT REALLY MEAN TO BECOME AN IGAHAF ALUMNI?

It means that the story does not end when the scholarship ends.

For many of our beneficiaries, the journey began with an opportunity — an opportunity to remain in school, pursue their education, dream beyond their circumstances, and discover what they are capable of becoming.

But education is not only about getting through school.

It is about the people you become along the way.

That is why becoming an IGAHAF Alumni represents something much deeper than completing a scholarship programme. It represents a transition from beneficiary to graduate, and from graduate to a member of a growing community connected by a shared story.

You become part of the IGAHAF Global Network of Alumni — a community of people whose journeys may be different, but whose stories are connected by one thing: they were once given an opportunity to believe that their future could be different.

And that connection matters.

Because when you become an alumnus, you carry more than a certificate or a memory.

You carry the lessons.
You carry the values.
You carry the experience.
You carry the story of someone who believed in you.

And perhaps one day, you may become that person for someone else.

At IGAHAF, we believe that the greatest measure of an opportunity is not only what it does for someone today, but what that person can go on to do with it tomorrow.

The scholarship may have been the beginning.
Graduation may be a milestone.
But becoming an alumnus means the journey continues.

A journey of growth.
A journey of connection.
A journey of purpose.
A journey of impact.

To every beneficiary who has walked this path, and to every graduate now joining the IGAHAF Global Network of Alumni:

Your story is still being written.

Once an IGAHAF Beneficiary.
Always part of the IGAHAF story. ❤️💛

WHEN IMPACT SPEAKS, PEOPLE HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY. ❤️

At the 6th Annual IGAHAF Education Summit, the red carpet became a moment for parents, guests, and friends of the Foundation to share their thoughts about the man behind the vision, **High Chief Ichie Ozo Ignatius Onyeka Aguowo**, and the difference his commitment to education, healthcare, and humanity continues to make.

A life of giving leaves footprints in places words cannot always reach.

Here are a few voices from a memorable day.

WE DIDN’T JUST LOOK FOR THE BEST RESULTS. WE LOOKED FOR THE BEST MINDS.

At the 6th Annual IGAHAF Education Summit and the prestigious induction of our graduated beneficiaries into the IGAHAF Global Network of Alumni, excellence took on a new dimension.

This year, the IGAHAF Best Beneficiaries Award was approached differently.

Rather than selecting outstanding beneficiaries solely based on their academic averages, the Foundation introduced an internal IGAHAF Scholars Distinction Examination, designed and administered with professional examiners.

The examination went beyond the regular school curriculum.

It challenged our scholars across Logical Thinking, Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving, with questions tailored to their respective educational levels—from Primary to Junior Secondary, Senior Secondary and Tertiary education.

Why?

Because we believe excellence is not only about what a student remembers, but also about how they think, how they reason, how they approach problems and how they apply knowledge.

From over 80 outstanding students who qualified for the distinction examination, four exceptional scholars emerged with the highest overall performance.

In recognition of their brilliance and outstanding achievement, our Founder and Chairman, High Chief Ichie Ozo Ignatius Onyeka Aguowo, awarded each of them a brand-new laptop and a ₦500,000 cash prize at the Summit.

For IGAHAF, rewarding excellence is more than a celebration.

It is a way of saying to every scholar:

Keep learning.
Keep thinking.
Keep challenging yourself.
Keep becoming.

Because the future belongs not only to those who know, but to those who can think, solve, create and lead.

Congratulations to our IGAHAF Best Beneficiaries for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

We celebrate excellence.
We challenge potential.
We invest in minds.

SOMETIMES, IMPACT STARTS WITH A SINGLE POST.

Mrs. Maha Ebere from Delta State came across IGAHAF through social media.

What followed became a meaningful turning point for her family and her daughter’s education.

Today, she shares her experience with IGAHAF and what the scholarship has meant to them.

Sometimes, one opportunity is all a family needs to breathe a little easier.
