Hmmmm🤔🤔
After spending many years teaching in the primary section, stepping into the nursery classroom again felt like entering a completely different world.
I was used to teaching older pupils who could read, write, and follow instructions easily.
Nursery pupils, however, were much younger, more playful, and needed more patience and care.
After my maternity leave, i was posted to nursery two class.
On my first day in the nursery class, I walked into the classroom feeling both excited and a little nervous.
The pupils were very lively. Some were playing with toys, some were talking loudly, and a few were even crying because they missed their parents.
In my mind, i immediately had this strong thought that these children will only pay attention and listen to me if I use play away method of teaching.✍️
So, I started the class with a cheerful greeting and a simple song. The children quickly became interested and began to sing along.
We clapped our hands, laughed, and moved around. This helped them feel comfortable with me.🥰
Indeed it was a wonderful and another unique experience since after over ten good years of my teaching experience in government primary schools.💪
Today makes it exactly One Week of my stay in nursery section. Now, with my one week experience of teaching Nursery pupils, i can boldly and confidently tell you that:👇👇
Teaching younger children is both challenging and rewarding. It requires patience, creativity, and a warm heart, but the joy and innocence of the children make the experience truly special.🥰
I am loving the experience so far!❤️
I will keep adapting!💪
Teachers Are Great!🔥
Yes o! We move! Happy Weekend!💃
