# NULGE STORMS LOCAL GOVERNMENT SERVICE COMMISSION ON SOLIDARITY MARCH!
The Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees NULGE, led by the NULGE State President, Comrade Chudi Orakwue staged a Solidarity visit to the Chairman, Anambra State Local Government Service Commission, Vin Ifeanyi Ezeaka, to update him on the state of the Union, today 18th September, 2025.
Speaking during the visit, the NULGE State President Comrade Chudi Orakwue, described as shameful, the actions and utterances of a faction of NULGE, at the LIGHT HOUSE, where the state secretary of NULGE, one Ikechukwu Abugu, called for the sack of the Commission Chairman, after pouring vituperations and casting aspersions on the person of the Commission boss.
The State NULGE president condemned in its entirety such unwarranted attack on the Chairman and also disassociate NULGE, Anambra State from such campaign of calumny, likening it to the " growl of a drowning man.
Chudi Orakwue commended the Anambra State Local Government Service Commission, for their unwavering commitment to due process and rule of law, in upholding the judgement of the Court of competent jurisdiction which reclaimed their mandate as the authentic NULGE in Anambra State.
The State NULGE president promised to partner with Commissions SOLUTION VANGUARD MOVEMENT, for the re-election of Mr Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo for second tenure.
Responding, the Chairman Local Government Service Commission, Vin Ifeanyi Ezeaka, thanked the New face of NULGE for their concern and Solidarity visit, but expressed displeasure at the persistence NULGE protests in the State, which created industrial disharmony in the Council System, with resultant loss of innumerable man hours and revenue loss for the Government.
Vin Ifeanyi Ezeaka, recounted the Commission's several attempts to broker peace and unite NULGE splinter groups, since he took office; and which peace initiative was scuttled by the same belligerent NULGE faction, who engaged in a show of shame, today at the LIGHT HOUSE.
Barrister Ezeaka likened the protesting NULGE, to Biblical Prodigal son, but stated that, as the Chairman, and Head of all local government workers, he has forgiven them, because to " ere is human"
The Commission boss reiterated his resolve to stamp out all manner of corrupt practices in the system, while striving to enthrone professionalism and results driven council system that works for the people; stressing that no amount of smear campaign, propaganda and name calling shall derail his focus in actualising the mandate of a corrupt free local government, in accordance with the SOLUTION AGENDA of Mr Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo led Administration.
Vin Ifeanyi Ezeaka, finally urged the New face of NULGE to extend olive branch to other factions for unification under one NULGE family, to ensure industrial harmony in the State, without which, no meaningful success should be achieved by the union.
