At Changing Lives with Oluebube Foundation, we see girls leading change every day in classrooms, communities, and conversations.

Through our Pad a Girl Child initiatives, we empower them to stay in school, manage their periods with dignity, and lead with confidence.

To every girl child out there, keep shining, keep speaking, keep leading, the world needs your light.

Happy international day of the Girl child to every girl, lady, woman, sister, aunt, mother out there.

Many girls get their first period, known between the ages of 9 and 16. For some, it comes earlier. For others, a bit later.

It’s a big part of growing up, often showing up alongside things like breast development, underarm hair, mood changes, and that sudden growth spurt.

But let’s be honest, it can feel like a lot and really overwhelming.

When no one talks about it openly, a girl’s first period can come with confusion, fear, or even shame.

That’s why period education matters.
Because every girl deserves to feel informed.
Every girl deserves to feel prepared.
And most of all every girl deserves to feel proud.

Let’s keep having these conversations, out loud and with love.

No girl should walk into womanhood scared or unsure.

Let’s make it normal to talk about periods — together.

Every month, the female body prepares for pregnancy. When it doesn’t happen, the body releases the lining of the uterus — that’s your period. It’s your body doing what it was made to do.

Let’s start from the beginning, what is menstruation?

Menstruation is the monthly release of blood and tissue from the uterus through the va**na. It’s a natural part of a girl’s reproductive cycle and usually begins during puberty. It’s not dirty, it’s not a curse, and it’s not something to be ashamed of. It simply means the body is doing what it’s meant to do.

Every girl deserves to understand what’s happening in her body and to feel safe talking about it.

At CloFoundation, every new month is a fresh call to serve, nurture, and uplift the next generation.

This July, we're showing up with love, listening ears, and lasting impact, one child, one conversation, one safe space at a time.

Make it count for the children who dream, for the teens finding their voice, and for the future we’re building together.
