Imagine trying to learn without the basic things every child should have.

No notebook.
No pen.
No materials to fully participate in class.

That was the reality for many students before our Child Empowerment Outreach at Jambells Schools, Ikorodu, Lagos State, on May 11th, 2026.

We reached 86 primary and secondary school students with learning materials to support their education for the term ahead.

Notebooks.
Water bottles.
Writing packs.
Biros.
Rulers.
Crayons.

Then came the smiles.

Some students immediately opened their packs to check everything inside.
Others couldn’t stop smiling.

And in that moment, something as simple as school supplies became a reason to feel prepared again.

You can help another child walk into class feeling prepared and seen.

Their gratitude was quiet, but it said a lot.

After our time in Idu Karmo, the women shared their appreciation not just for the support, but for the knowledge they can now carry into their homes.

For mothers, that kind of reassurance means everything.

And for us, it’s a reminder to keep showing up.

Their gratitude was quiet, but it said a lot.

After our time in Rinze community, Plateau Jos, the women shared their appreciation not just for the support, but for the information they could understand and tools they could use to protect their homes from malaria.

For many of them, being seen, heard, and included meant everything.

And for us, it’s a reminder to keep showing up.
