Healthy people build stronger communities.

Through Odua Health Wise, we took another step toward promoting health awareness, preventive healthcare, and healthier living within our community.

The initiative provided an opportunity to create awareness about important health issues, encourage people to take their health seriously, and remind everyone that prevention is always better than cure.

From health education and meaningful conversations to encouraging regular check-ups and healthier lifestyle choices, Odua Health Wise is about making healthcare information more accessible and helping individuals make informed decisions about their well-being.

We believe that true community development goes beyond infrastructure. A healthy community is a thriving community, and every person deserves access to the knowledge and support needed to live a healthier life.

A big thank you to our volunteers, medical professionals, partners, and everyone who contributed to making this initiative impactful.

❤️ FEBRUARY FAMILY HANGOUT ❤️

Family is not just about blood; it is about love, connection, laughter, support, and creating memories together.

As part of our commitment to building stronger relationships and promoting a sense of togetherness, we brought families and loved ones together for a beautiful February Family Hangout.

It was a day filled with laughter, games, conversations, shared meals, fun activities, and most importantly, quality time with the people who matter. 🥰

In a world where everyone is constantly busy, moments like these remind us to pause, connect, and simply enjoy each other's presence.

The smiles, the laughter, the conversations, and the memories created will remain a beautiful reminder of what happens when people come together with love and genuine care.

Because sometimes, the greatest impact we can make is simply creating a space where people feel loved, valued, and connected. ❤️

🤝🏽 TUNDE ANIFOWOSE KILANI HELPING HANDS PROJECT – PHASE 2 💙

Everyone deserves a chance to heal, rebuild, and hope again.

As we continue the journey of the Tunde Anifowose Kilani Helping Hands Project, Phase 2 took us beyond giving material support to something equally important — giving people a listening ear, a safe space, and a reminder that their mental well-being matters.

We had the privilege of facilitating a Mental Health Awareness and Well-being Workshop at Agodi Correctional Facility, creating an avenue for meaningful conversations around mental health, emotional well-being, self-awareness, resilience, and the importance of seeking support.

Behind every individual is a story. Behind every mistake is a human being. And regardless of where someone finds themselves, their mental health and humanity should never be forgotten.

The experience reminded us that helping hands are not only about what we give; sometimes, they are about the conversations we start, the hope we restore, and the lives we touch.

We are grateful to everyone who contributed their time, knowledge, resources, and heart to making this phase possible.

Phase 1 celebrated new beginnings.
Phase 2 reminded us that every human being deserves hope and healing.

This is more than a project. It is a commitment to service, compassion, and creating meaningful impact, one life at a time. đź’™

🤝🏽 TUNDE ANIFOWOSE KILANI HELPING HANDS PROJECT – PHASE 1 💙

Sometimes, making a difference doesn’t require doing something extraordinary. Sometimes, it simply means showing up for someone at a moment when they need a helping hand.

We are proud to share the successful completion of Phase 1 of the Tunde Anifowose Kilani Helping Hands Project, an initiative dedicated to spreading kindness, hope, and support to those in need.

For Phase 1, we had the privilege of celebrating new beginnings by supporting the first baby born in the new year and the last baby born in the previous year, alongside their families. 👶🏽❤️

These may seem like small gestures, but behind every gift is a message: you are seen, you are valued, and your journey matters.

The project is inspired by the spirit of giving and the belief that service becomes meaningful when it touches lives directly. Through this initiative, we hope to continue creating moments of hope and reminding our communities that compassion still matters.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed, supported, volunteered, and made Phase 1 possible. This is only the beginning.

On 16th August 2026, JCI Odu’a held its Monthly Business Meeting themed “Cultural Diversity” and it was an amazing experience.

The meeting brought together members from different cultural backgrounds, each proudly representing their heritage through traditional attire, language, food, customs and cultural expressions.

It was truly beautiful to see how our different cultures came together to create one vibrant and united community. Every activity reflected the richness and uniqueness of the various tribes represented, reminding us that our diversity is not a barrier, it is our strength.

From the colours of our traditional outfits to the stories, traditions and values shared, the meeting was a powerful celebration of identity, unity, inclusion and mutual respect.

At JCI Odu’a, we believe that while we may come from different backgrounds, we can come together, learn from one another and build a better society.

A Productive Day of Learning, Connection & Impact!

On Saturday 29th of August, 2026, JCI ODUA member had a fulfilling day of engagement and collaboration.

We started with a visit to JCI Ibadan Elite’s Elite Social Innovation Accelerator, an inspiring initiative promoting entrepreneurship, innovation and sustainable business growth.

We also visited TEW – The Enterprise Woman Programme at Daylan, where we connected with and supported initiatives focused on empowering women and businesses.

The day concluded with a meaningful visit to PP Titilayo Eyelade Adedokun, 2020 President, JCI ODUA, where we had insightful discussions on the growth, development, and future of our Local Organisation.

Special appreciation to 2026 Vice President, JCI Tawakalt Olayiwola Yemi, for her support and commitment throughout the day.

Together, we continue to build, strengthen and position JCI ODUA for greater impact.

Happy Birthday to you, our dear Mummy!

Today, we celebrate not just your birthday, but also the remarkable legacy you have built and the impact you have made in our dear organisation.

As the First President of JCI ODUA in 2005, you were one of the pioneers who laid the foundation upon which we are still building today. The steps you took, the sacrifices you made, and the vision you had for the organisation have continued to speak even many years later.

We sincerely appreciate you and all our founding members for giving us a strong foundation and making us see the light in this organisation. Today, we proudly call ourselves JCI ODUA, and we cannot tell our story without acknowledging the sacrifices, commitment, and dedication of those who came before us.

Mummy, thank you for being there for the organisation and for always showing your love and support. We kindly urge you not to forget us. Your guidance, advice, encouragement, and support still mean so much to us, especially as we continue to build on the foundation you laid. We will never take your contributions for granted.
